I didnt receive a call. I got a postcard in the mail stating:
Great News! You are eligible to receive $100.00 in gift savings good at Walmart or Target! On the front, with this number 877-774-5247 and a claim number.  
On the back it says:
Dear Juli,
We are trying to reach you about your unclaimed reward!
We are holding a reward of $100.00 in gift savings good at Walmart or Target in your name.
Please contact us Toll-Free immediately for details and to claim your reward!
1-877-774-5247   Monday to Saturday 10am - 8pm ET  Your Claim #*****4013

I called just to see what it was about... with all intentsions of hanging up.  They lady has you confirm everything, ie: mailing address, phone number, email address, birthdate.  She barely could hold a normal conversation every other word was um, uh or ok.   Then she said everything would be sent to me Via email.  All i had to do was pay the $1.00 shipping and handling.  I was like uh no. Click.  She called me back 4 times, The last time  I told her if she called again, I was going to report her... well, she did.  Her name was Ameridia, From the WV office. And I called and reported the company to BBB.

Seems like all of you got text messages, or phone calls.   They upgraded to Postcards!

Got a text saying i eon s 100 dollar gift card...I decided to skype them.....When I asked them the name of their co. they hung up.

Reporting this scam to the AG's office

The call was from (571) 354-1230.

A few weeks ago, my dad posted this thing from Subway on facebook saying that you could win a year of free sandwiches. I clicked on the link and sent my email to sign up. Then it took me to all these coupon places and that's when I realized it was a scam. I had 3 times as much junk mail in my inbox after that. Now this has started and it makes me think that these calls are connected to that same scam. PLEASE BEWARE!!!

received a text message from 269-830-9203 saying "we wanted to thank you call 877-299-5912" For your $100 Dollar Gift Card, Hurry this offer ends soon, Gift ID WF 8315 Txt Stop to Unsub.

The lady said, "You filled out one of our websites, and this is our way of saying thank you." I said, "I'm confused, who is "us?"" She said, "Short Message Sending." I asked if they had a website themselves I could look up because I couldnt find anything on the web about them, she said yes, and then the call cut out.

I called back and got another person, I think male. He said the same thing to me, then I asked what company this was through. He repeated himself OVER me, and so I kept asking. Finally after 4 tries, he said "we're representing "Discount Savings Club" ma'am."

Then he proceeded to tell me to move along the processing of my $100 walmart gift card and my $100 gas card, he needed my account information to charge me a simple $4.95 fee for shipping the cards. "It is very expensive for them to ship all the girft cards." HA! RIGHT! $5 is more expensive than the $200 they're supposedly giving me.

Well, in any case, I don't even have a car anyway and there aren't any Walmarts in Chicago sooo, those would have been useless to me. Ha, I told him that, too, and he says, "I don't believe you don't have a car ma'am, you are just hesitating." With that, I said thank you for thanking me, goodbye!!!

Got same text as Sam (above).  It offered $100 gift card.   I have a pay-as-you-go cell phone and this SPAM costs me 20 cents to receive...I know  $0.20  isn't much but it still burns me.  Not sure where/when/how they got the # but it's obviously out there now.  Probably gonna have to change #'s even though that's a HUGE pain in the A$$.

Did not respond or call.  Too many scams.  Call came from 321-806-7294

Number appeared on my cell phone offering a $100 gift card.

i have received a text as well on 4-25 -11 representative stating his name was ben sandler
saying I will receive a $100 walmart gift card and $120 gas card in 3-5 days
on 4-30-11 I spoke with representative stating it will take 7days
and now today i call i keep getting a different representative and they hang up on me when i ask for  supervisor i get hung up on each time  this people jus took my money for a 30trial that im not interested in
