I got a text and called back. They just asked me some questions about
a job I applied for recently in order to screen me. It took about 5
minutes and was pretty easy.

looks like Sterling Personnel - a staffing agency (after reading the posts,comparing my text and doing some online searching). I am not responding to it.

I recieved the same text for a job positon and I called. What information did you hear about this Sterling agency? I would greatly appreciate it. I am a litte worried now because I confirmed to them my name and address, phone number, edu. They didn't ask anything out of the unsual. I just want to amke sure I didnt do anything stupid by confirming that info.

Hey I just got a text & I called.... I got a woman that new my name right away... its kind of weird. she said they ask a few questions and send the info to the employer. I said ok ( hopefully they wouldnt ask anything personal) All she asked if I was old enough... highest education... & if I see myself in school in the future. She had a lot of questions about school so I think its a telemarketing for a school program. Dont bother... I had to hang up after a couple minutes. :/

I got  text as well.  I agree if it is a real job this is the wrong way to go about it.  I sent them a test back asking, if they sent me one then they should not mind one back - right?, well I got another test saying Thanks for testing opt it and that it is not recognized.  I have to unsubscribe and there might be charges added.  Funny thing is that I never give out my personal cell phone number, even for jobs until I get hired, so I don't have a clue how they got this.  Be careful next ppl who get this.  Don't give out ANY info till you are hired!!!!

I just got one also. it said about a job I applied for.  I always do a search on phone numbers I don't know.
