Yup...keep leaving messages on my cell trying to find my ex husband.  telling me they are going to go to him home and work to serve him...serve him what????  lunch????  and i can't figure out why they are calling me.  I call the number he leaves and no one ever answers. Ugh

This company may have a professional sounding name but is absolutely not a collection agency or connected to any type of pay day loan companies. This company is a scam and are just trying to collect money of of people by scaring them. They collect your personal information from bad debts including pay day loans but also several other types of delinquent accounts. Ignore the call and report their number to the attorney generals office. DO NOT RELEASE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIS FOOLS!!!!!!!!! 1-877-780-2947

Got a call on cell and WORK phone within 1 minute of each other from someone who said he was with "First Asset" - caller ID showed number as 215-995-2290, obviously not the listed number for First Asset. He said he had "legally binding documents connected to my name and Social Security Number" to deliver and needed me to call back immediately upon receipt of his message.  Sure, ok ... I'll just call some yokel whose number isn't even connected with any company (fraudulent or not) and give him my personal information.  Are these people REALLY as stupid as they come across???  Commission or not people, you need to follow the letter of the law.  Unbelievable.

A company called First Asset Recovery Group has been contacting me for a delinquent payday loan, therefore, I am not surprised to see the negative feedback about this company all over the internet. Needless to say, I won't be sending these clowns a dime!

FARG made unsolcited calls to 2 friends. I do not know how they ever got theri phone numbers. I tracked them down by the phoen # my friend took. the Unidentified caller said then need some sort of reference on me?/  I tracked them down by phone after seveal unsucceessful attempts to be connected. At first I thgouth nothing of it. Coem to fidn out I am a victim of identity theft. FARG sis i made a pay day loan and requested more information so that a payment plan woudl be set up. It hignk FARG is a scam to extor money form inocent victims. i suspect that they are the ones that stole my credit information. I am freezing my credit reports and filing a police reports. i have sente a letter to FARG with my demands for restoration of my good credit and also removing me from this alleged obligation. I hope these people stopped from this heinous online crime

Just today 6/11, I received a phone call at my place of employment. I was not passed the phone because I was busy. It was then passed on to my manager. They started questioning her about my position, my salary, etc. Of course she did not give them any info. When she question them they kept going around in circles and avoided answering her question.  I have been scammed before, and I see it as harrassement when they start call your job and asking personal question.

I was left a message on my cell phone to call them back and they made it clear that they spoke to my manager, I guess they thought I was going to get scared and call them. I have no time for these people I have better things to do. It just throws me thru a loop that they would call your place of employment and start asking personal questions about you to someone else. Anyways, I don't worry about this, just make me mad.

It's a collection agency tied to Payday Loans.  Had them call me and somehow they got my number doing a background check on someone I didn't know.

Received 2 voice messages (cell & work) within 30 seconds of each other from this number stating they were doing "a reference check in regards to" me and to please call back with "this reference number" so they could finish their reference check.  Did not leave a name, company name or what the reference check is for.  Obviously, I will not call

Have been receiving harrassing & threatening calls (between 10 and 20) for past 2 weeks from 877-780-2947 always referencing the name Matthew Hutchinson (sp-?) and stating that because of no response they have "no other optiion but to notify their client....plus they gave a case # "CL52619".

Upon calling the 877-780-2947 number it is auto-answered "New Asset"...after several failed transfers I reached a male who spoke very accusingly and hid behind position statements that they have the right to call but wouldn't reveal anything about who they were or who their client was. He said they were trying to reach this "Matthew Hutchinson" and what was my relation to him. After emphatically stating that we have NO IDEA WHO MATTHEW HUTCHINSON WAS (an absolute truth), he accusingly re-asked several times about our connection to Mr. Hutchinson and finally said they must have been given a wrong number...HE GAVE NO INFO ON FIRST ASSET (when asked) and dismissed it as "there is no law against dialing a wrong number"...

He eventually asked for our phone number (which he already had) and said he would take it off the calling list... I cautioned him that this was private information and that if there was any further resulting from these incidents, I would file charges. On the Internet, I found that it was First Asset's RECOVERY GROUP and that many people have had nearly identical harrassing incidents!

I have had to send a letter to this company to stop calling my mother's cell phone and my employer.  I work directly with my debtors no matter how delinquent I become.

Getting calls daily from this number with my young son's name in the recording saying he has an outstanding loan.  Not likely.  More likely identity theft.  Checking into it.

My wife and I also gets calls from this # for the last week 3-4 times aday. anyway we paid ours off also yrs ago over 8 yrs. but i found out the statue of limitations for a bad check is only 3-5 yrs. they are scamming thinking you will pay cause u dont want the hassle.

I have been receiving messages like this on a family members phone looking for me and I haven't taken out a payday loan in years and when I did way back when, they were all paid off, so I don't know what's going on.  Also my fb account was hacked into by someone from indonesia, I think they have a full time job trying to get peoples info to steal identities, thats what I think anyways.  These are a bogus calls from this number.

i've been getting calls from this number for about 2 weeks so I saw this site last night. i did have a payday loan i took out about 2 years ago so i called them back. they are very polite and was willing to work something out with me, i talked to a mike there. he actually listened to me lol thats never happened with a bill collector before.

I received a message from this phone # w/ a gentleman's name and ext to call back. Upon calling him back he informs me of a payday loan I took out over 3yrs ago that needs to be paid back. He stated that I can only pay this by debiting my checking account, no other way.  I told him I needed to talk this over with my husband and he demanded that I resolve this right then and there or he would have to persue legal action.  I did not give him any information and hung up.

I just received a call and a voice message - the caller i.d. read "GRICE JONATHAN 704875XXXX" and the messaging system stated I had a voice message from "GRICE JONATHAN 704875XXXX."  However, when I listened to the message the caller said, with an accent of some type, that his name was Mr. Escolera<sp> and to please call him at 877-780-2946.  A lookup of this number will only give info if you pay for it.  Now that's a new trick!

I have been receiving automated calls for weeks about a claim against an old acquaintance. The voice mail claims I haven't responded to written correspondence (I've received none) and that "First Asset Recovery Group" have no choice but to act on my behalf. No idea what is going on. Any one else have this experience?

payday loan collectors. Dont give them your information. I Have never had a payday loan with any company and they have my old bank account info and last for digits of social. they are scammers
