I got a call from (701) 540-0791, but she left the call back number: (877) 786-1624 on my voice mail. I answered the call today, and right away she told me I won a $50 giftcard to Walmart, and that she was from Smart Shopper website. I've never heard of or signed up for the website, but think she got my number from: www.1000-vouchers.com. I entered a giveaway from this site, and think it was a scam because the calls from this number started the next day. The contest is supposedly running all year long, so it doesn't make sense I would win one day after entering. She also started asking for my personal information after she told me I won a giftcard, "to make sure I wasn't a minor..." I told her I wasn't interested, to take me off her contact list and hung up. She was calling from a really noisy place, it could have been outdoor because there was so much background noise. She sounded desperate to keep me on the phone. I think these scammers are also using (763) 237-3262. Identity theft scammers sitting in the same room all making phishing calls together.

I received a call at 2:26 pm, today (March 07, 2013), from "unknown caller."  I did not answer, let the machine pick up, and the message was telling me to call back 877-786-1624.  I didn't call back.  I am on South Vancouver Island, BC.

they told me that i won giftcard of 50$ .my postal code is J8Y 3V2    i want to ask them why they canceled my prize

They are demanding money from me and threatening my credit information.

i have gotten 7 calls between 8a-1p.   No message.  Ridiculousness!!!!!!

the smart shopper savings club is operating in the philippines.. they are scamming us customers and filipino employees alike! someone has to stop them...

Constantly getting calls...no message left...finally they left a message today.
I called them back and demanded they take my phone number from their call-list, and suggested, strongly, that they check the Do Not Call Registry, since I've been on it for at least 5 years.
Guess we'll see if the calls from them stop.

I have had many calls from this number and it's very disturbing....what can I do?

I got 9 in one day, and 3 in one minute. I reported them right away.

They've called me atleast 5 times a day for the last 3 days. I told the girl to never call me again...what does she do 4 hours later? how stupid are these people.

Have received 8 calls from this # for the past week. Leaves no message. Says toll-free # on caller ID.

I got a call and they said "we need your age to make sure we are not giving this to minors." After telling them I was born in 1996 and I am of the age of 15 he repeated "so your 19 and you were born in 1996, alright.. Can I have your area code?" what was the point of this call? was this man just horrible with math or was is this some sort of scam?

I keep getting calls from this number and they leave no messages. I'm sick and tired of getting calls from people who either keep calling and leave no messages or when they leave a message there isn't anyone there!!! And the funny thing is.....I'm on the No Calling List!!! Go figure they can somehow get around it.

Calls 4 to 5 times a day - do not know who they are or what they want.  Won't leave a message.  These type of callers should have a ban put on them.  I want them stopped.

I got my first phone call from a lady at this number today.  She informed me that I had won a free $50 gift card to spend at one of many stores she rattled off.  She said she would put it in the post etc.  But in order to get it, I needed to sign up with them for $3,95 ......  Hopefully my non interest will put them off calling me back

Called at 8:30 pm, wanted to talk to (my son's name, mispronounced) to confirm the address so they could send the parcel. When I asked what kind of parcel, she started talking about a $50 voucher ...  I hung up.

some body should find a way to terminate all phone privileges for everyone within a 200 mile radius from wherever these type of calls originate from.

I got a call from this same number yesterday 8777681624 and he said his company was sending me a target gift card for $50 but I need to pay an activation fee of 3.95 and I would receive the card in 2-3 business days. I told him that he must send me the card and once I receive it I'd pay the fee but he said he can't process it unless I paid the fee.
He noticed my hesitation and kept saying that he was from a reputae million dollar company-the smart shopper- and he won't jeopardize the company's name for a meager sum and wanted asked for my visa card number. I didn't give it to him I told him he must send me an email so I could verify his company and he said that if he didn't activate the card then someone else would have to work on my file and I won't be able to talk to him again. I said well if that's how it is ok but I'm not giving you my visa #.
Anyway he didn't get the 3.95 but he got my address.
He asked to verify my address before he asked for the money.
I must always remember that a gift card needs no activation fee.
Maybe he'd call back to see if he can get that money but I'm ready to let him know what I think about him.
I'm glad I decided to check the number out.

i got a called from this number 877-789-1624 saying there will send me a $50 giftcard and its all mine i can spend it anywhere and then she discuss a lot more thing. after the discussion the caller said what kind of card would u like to use for payment??
what the hell. i dont even know what is she talking abou. i only understand the gift card part.lmao.

I get phone calls almost daily from this number.  I do not answer phone numbers that aren't identified on my phone but I am curious as to who these numbers come from.  I get calls from Oregon and Washington that aren't identified also.  I just delete them but would like to find a way to stop these calls.

I have received 5 calls from this number over the past two days and I called them back and it's Smart Shopper Club or something to that effect. I  told them I keep receiving calls from them and I want to be removed from the list and after a pause the woman said "thank you, have a nice day". It was very noisy so obviously it's a huge call center probably just dialing random numbers.

I have been getting calls from this number everyday for the past week and at the same time of day.  I dont answer calls not logged in my contact list and they havent left any messages so I guess it just isnt important

I got a call from this number 7 times today. I called back and it was the shopper savings thing and i had a free $50.00 target card. I asked 5 times to be removed and the lady just kept saying "But dont you want your card". My thought is this : if i won something, most places would leave a message. 7 calls is abusive. Will see if they call again,

I kept track on the number of calls I received from these fools. There were 14 calls in 2 days. I picked up the phone on the 15th call, and blasted the jerk on the other end.  So far So good.  Goggling the phone # for location, they appear to phoning from a place in California, I think it was called "Jackson" or something like that.  To get more info about them you have to pay a fee.
