i am receiving lots of calls from this number 18777891056 and do not want them to bother me again

Got a call from this message and they left me a voicemail, said they were from Rogers and their call was not a marketing call, and that I should call back their number.

I received two unidentified calls , they left their telephone number , which is 1-877-789-1056, and they left a message to call them back, it happened twice. They also left their address 1001 Sherbrooke est

It is Aero Collections 877-789-1056 imagine they are calling me for 407 ETR toll route in Toronto trying to collect somethins that is 11 years old!!! They are saying I owe the 407 976$ for using the toll route 1 day back in April 2003!!! How the hell can anybody owe that much to a toll route company for 1 time!!!

So, now we know who and what this company is, what can be done to stop the calls? They have called my number dozens of times, but there is never anyone there. And I have no debt.

I have a formal complaint into CRTC and, with the help of my accountant and trustee, am preparing to pursue damages for a rapidly growing number of complainants in a joint motion under the Collection Agencies Act  for engaging in Prohibited Practices and Methods in the Collection of Debts.

The company is - ARO Incorporated 7030 Woodbine Ave Unit 700 Markum Ontario L3R 6G2

They Called and asked me to Verify myself, I informed them I don't answer questions by phone and asked if they were not going to explain why they are calling to not call the number again, this happened 5 times and then a Laurn Coxxon under the management of Anthony Frimprong resorted to calling our number 613 392 9165 twice a day for 8 days and hanging up.  I called back and She again asked to Verify myself, I explained that I don't answer questions and she told me "the calls will continue then"  I am yet to receive anything in the mail or have anyone explain to me why they are calling.  Their answer is I have a file in their office, I filled for Bankruptcy in 2008 and was released in 2012.  That company has no reason to call me.  Mostly though it's the Terrorist approach they are taking that is disturbing. I believe CRTC is in place to protect Canadian Citizens from this type of thing.  I called them back to get the information and informed them that I have a complaint into CRTC and Anthony Frimprong Laughed stating "go ahead complain to who ever you want, the calls will continue"

I recieved a call from the number 1-877-789-1056, I answered, for some reason, and they did not say one thing in 22secs. I decided to call the number back to see who it was and everytime I tired to pick an option it redirects to french talking and I was told nothing about the company. As many times as I tired. Is there somehow I can be taken off the call list if this is not important, or I will have no choice into taking this matter up with my lawyer, so the issues no longer stresses me out. Thanks!

Automated machine left a message on my voicemail claiming that this is an important message for someone in my household. When I called it back it said the company name was Aero or Arrow. Was on hold with elevator music for 3 mins. before I decided to hang up. Probably another big scam!

Ce numéro appartient à Aro, une agence de collection.  Moi aussi je recevais au moins un appel par jour sur mon cell. (donc, c'est moi qui paye).  Par Google, j'ai fait une recherche pour 18777891056.  C'est là que j'ai découvert Aro.  Ils ont d'ailleurs un site, et des adresses de leurs bureaux, entre autre à Montréal.  J'ai aussi appelé le numéro et pitonné diverses extensions.  J'ai pu parler à une jeune femme très désagréable qui m'a dit que c'était une erreur que je reçoive ces appels et qu'elle enlèverait mon numéro de leur liste.  Les méthodes des agences de collection sont toujours les mêmes :  sournoises, hypocrites et si on ne fait pas quelques recherches pour arriver à parler à quelqu'un, on se fait importuner sans cesse.  Donc, aller sur Google, taper Aro et vous obtiendrez toutes les informations sur Aro.  Bonne chance.  Moi, j'ai porté plainte.

That number comes up in caller ID. They call once or twice a day and stay silent if I answer. Is this harassment and isn't that illegal?

they called my house every day they even lnew my name after looking here I am sure it is fake so I phoned them told them. you keep calling my number and they said is this the number you are calling from I said yes they said they were looking for they said my name but I told them I didn't know that person and I just got this number a week ago so quit calling here. they said they would make a note on the file so try that but don't let them know it is really you. and if they ask for your name make one up. and if the call you again looking for that person you said you were  got them. you got to know how to scam a scammer. I just did. and also tell them you are a collection agency and they owe you money for herrassment. heheheheheh
donot give them any personal info address real name (only fake name) credit card info so on then once they call back looking for the fake person record time. they called what they asked for don't give it to them but when you get off the phone call the donot call list and tell them every thing and there balls will be nailed to the wall. you can even log a complaint if you are not a the list. because the company is a fraud

You keep calling my phone but not leaving a message, which tells me you are probably trying to sell me something.  Please don't bother and stop calling.

I've received several cal as well in the last 3 weeks? When i pick up the hang up right away, I tried calling back ans I was on hold foe several minutes, what ever they are trying to do it's a SCAM!! beware.

I just discovered that number it is a collection Agency called ARO and it is no scam!!!! Put it in google search you can see it under collection agencies.

I got a call at 1-877-1056 from this number twice last week and they left two automated messages to call them back regarding my file and they give a number with regards of my file. Then just now they did the same thing I picked up and it is also an automated message to call them back at this number.

I called back just for fun and the automated answer welcome to Arrow....so I don't know if it is a scam of some kind of collection agency or so.

Two months ago, I started getting calls from them several times a week on my pre-paid mobile phone.
They weren't even looking for me, so basically it's costing me money each time I listen to their spam.
I called them back and asked them to remove my number. They stoped calling for a few days, then it started again!

These guys called me an hour ago and f%*+ing woke me up...AGAIN!!! In fact they've been calling my home number at the crack of dawn since April 11th. Judging by this thread amd the dates of reply this number seems pretty recent development/ new scamming company (a few posters seemed to have gotten the call around same time as me!). I'm a student who lives on the west coast and these guys are definitely not from the west from what I can tell because they call at the most ungodly hours. From my phone log it seems that the first time they called was April 11th and...well...

I've picked up a few times (including today). They NEVER answer and the phone eventually gives me the "error" tone after. It's extremely infuriating...I've "blocked" the number on my Panasonic phone as its about the only thing I could do. If anyone finds out more about this f-ing number and how to deal with this crap please enlighten the rest of us. They should NOT be allowed to call that early and that frequently....half the phone logs from these guys...

These people called me as well.  I was half asleep when they asked me for my vitals and I think I gave it to them...including my SIN number.  Any idea how I should proceed?

Unbelievable.  I also have received a number of calls from this exact number and company.  Good to know that it's a bunch of B.S.  How do these people sleep at night?

I have been getting multiple calls a day from this number. Incidentally, I have been getting many, many calls from similar suspicious numbers in the past couple weeks. My number was obviously sold to some scamming companies... Now I just add all those numbers to a Reject List so the call does not go through. It still appears in my phone log though, so I can confirm that they are calling relentlessly mutliple times a day. Very annoying.

Nobody is allowed to ask your SIN except government and employer - this therefore logically identifies this company as a scam.  Also based on similar complaints than others.  They just phoned me when I was
out - if they do it again, I will go after them as I am on the Do Not Call List and they are not entitled to call me, though as an 877 number, they are probably hiding outside the country.

wow i couldnt beleive what your post ! i got the SAME EXACT CALL saying i owe money to fida from 7 years ago and that they are trying to collect !! ive never had a fido account .. is this a scamm ?

even if i did owe them $$, they are talkin about something from 2006.

I got this call for so many months, pick up the phone, no body answer but asked me to call back.  When I called back, they reppresent as ARO, also NCO also Icor Canada, they all are collection agencies using the same phone number with different name.  Thay ask my birthday, driver licence, SIN and credit card and said I owed money to their clients, I asked who are their clients, they said "just tell the info they required (birthday, SIN, driver licence, Credit card...) and then they will tell me who are their clients.  I refused to tell, they said they will call me until i tell them all my personal info. I cetainly sure myself not owed anybody or company. Then they called me everyday. BIG SCAM, be careful.

NO ONE SPOKE WHEN THEY CALLED AND THE PERSON THEY WANTED IS NOT ME.
