I get a call from this number daily with not on message left. Been going on for a couple months now. They will call at all different times of the day into the evening.

Just an fyi, there are laws in place that govern third party collectors and you could be entitled to money damages, however, don't tell them that you will sue them as that could ruin any potential case you have. Just let the calls come in and contact an attorney who handles the FDCPA.

They just called my old phone number and I was stupid enough to call them back and a woman who sounded like a man answered, When I said I did not know the person they were calling for said that most people call up and say that we have the wrong number and hung up. Companies like this need to be shut down period.

It is Diversified Adjustment Service, Inc., aka. North Shore Agency trying to collect a debt.
I contacted LemburgLaw.com and I am suing some of these collectors for being a nuisance. I got rid of my landline phone and just have a cellphone, which records all incoming calls. I have a jailbroken iPhone 3G, which has an app called iBlacklist which blocks all those collection calls, but keeps a list of them. So, I told the collector, "Don't call or I sue you!" Yet they still called, 2, 3 or 4 times a day!
Well, Resurgent Capital Services and United Collection Bureau are both being sued for being a nuisance!
These guys, Diversified Adjustment Service, don't call enough to quailfy as a nuisance. I still block them, though, with my iPhone. I'll pay PG&E when I have a job and can afford it. I won't pay some "vulture" collector!!

it is ironic that they manage to cut off the start of the "announcement" should you, like I call the number back. Yet the want you to tell them your "account Number" when you don't know who the heck it is. A nice touch too in that they use an "autodialer" to call you and expect you to wait for a human to finally pick up on the other end

diversified adjustment service. Looking to collect money from someone that does not live at my phone number. They won't quit calling me.
