I received a phone call from these people trying to get money from me.  They stated I owed money to payday loan in the amount of $420 and $219...that they were taking me to court.  They were going into my checking account.  What was scary, was that they had all my information...from my address to my social...and banking info....they called me over 40 times....They had a strong accent, yet they used names such as Jason Green, Hoffman, Miller, Daniel Scott.  They gave me an address of location for them ......7369 Chulo vista Drive...San Francisco, Ca. 79326...It was a scam...I knew it.

Yes I have received calls from this jerk also. I can BARELY understand him and then he says his name is Barry Cooper or Joe Smith or something like that and that he is an Investigation Officer. And that if I do not call him this second he only wishes me luck for the bad situation that is about to unfold upon me and that I can most certaily expect further prosecution. This is harassment and someone has got to be able to do something about it - shut down the phone number or something.

I called the actual company and was told of the scam

The mideast individual is constantly calling my former employer and says, he has the right to do it.  They tell me, all he says is is my name in a dying voice and that is all he says, then when asked, he asks for me, and they keep telling him, I don't work there anymore.  I have contacted the BBB and other agencies to get this to stop.  He identifies himself as Raymond or Ramon Scott and he is working for a legal department, for US Cash Advance.  If he is working in a legal department, then he knows, he is violating the law, with these phone calls.

I got a call from the same number yesterday; this guy is using the same name. I think that this guy is using a PC with a camera and some software similar to that which Dell uses to spy on people to gain personal information. Or using online tactics to get people to fall for his trap.

This same number has called me and this wasnt the first time or first number. They called me yesterday as Officer John Foster from 2123899504 saying I owe some loan amount of $300.00. Then today they called me from 5712355487 telling me to call him back on the 877 number

These guys are located somewhere in the San Gabriel Valley. I got a call from this number and told the guy I was reporting him. He then hung up and called me on his cell phone 626-286-2042 please get this guy,ty. Charles Lembach.

Same call today that everyone had.  I received a call at work saying that I defaulted on a payday loan.  When I asked for reference of what they were talking about, they called me a liar and told me that I should be ashamed for not telling the truth. Hmmmm...pretty sure I'm telling the truth.  I knew for sure it was a scam when they couldn't produce a company name or any paperwork to back up their story and I bantered back and forth with them for fun but...

one concerning item however is that they read to me my social security number, address etc. (no, I didn't provide this to them) as well as the bank I use.  So with this being a scam and seeing all of the feedback on this number, I'm quite concerned.

I got a call today from the Idiots. They called my home and then they called my wifes work.
My wife called me about this bunch. So I called Quest about this 1-877-810-4090 number. They advised that it was a offshore number.Quest advised that other people was getting calls from this same number. So I contacted the FBI about this. They advised that their is no on going case on this issue.They also advised me to contact the locals on this issue. So I advised the FBI.that I was giving the Idiots some of there own medicine. I advised the FBI agent that I called then back and advised them that we know where they are located and that we are coming for them.The FBI agent though it was funny.The FBI agent then advised that one of his coagent got a call from this bunch of Idiots on a FBI cell phone.

Received messages at work, home & cell.  I answered once earlier this year and received the same information that has been posted.  I never answer calls that I don't recognize the number.  They have left
threatening messages about needing me or my attorney to call back.  I work for a law firm and have been advised to just ignore.

I got a call from these bozo's.  They call 3 times in a row and the third time leave a message.  It is  to a similar group, if not the same group that recently called and identified themselves as the Florida State Attorney General's Office.  Two things struck me funny, one the area code was for Southern California and my aunt works at the local office of the Florida States Attorney General's office.  They took a report but can't do much.

I spoke to FTC.  They advise reporting them as often and under whatever number they call from.  Do not answer the calls.  If you do, don't admit to being whoever it is they are calling for.  They want money tell them no.  Don't give them money, your name, your social security number, anything.  If they want to verify whatever and read off a name or number say "wrong" but don't tell them what the correct information is.They are not in the US and are bouncing (what FTC said) their calls onto american lines so seem legit.  If there was a legal issue with the attorney general or sheriff or any law enforcement you would either be face to face with an officer or get a certified letter.   Per FTC rules, they may not in anyway threaten or impersonate a law enforcement officer.

Same people called me four times today. Twice on my cell and twice at work. I hung up on them cause I couldn't understand them. Left me a voicemail threatening me if I don't call them. 877-810-4090. If they call me back I'm reporting them.

Thanks to the constant phone calls at my job,I have lost it.  Now I wonder, how to take care of my family and if they are going to start on my references.  My supervisor has called in the local police, to find a way to have them stopped.  I just wonder, what the fair trade commission is doing on this.  Maybe the department of immigration could step in and check their green cards.  Let them loose something.

Called my cell 3 times and is now harassing my secretary. This is embarassing, especially since I've not applied for any loans!!!!!!!!!!!! The information given above is very interesting but I feel like I'm a pion and have very little recourse. How can our government allow this to happen? They obviously know its going on. So disturbing!!

I had call from Autoloans and payday loans I own. It's a bunch of bull s***. They are out of the country and use prepaid cell phones to call.  They do nothing but harass and use scare tactics.

Same Scam and same people with the accents.Threatening with arrest FTC says this is against the law big time i have forwarded all emails and phone numbers to the FTC.

They been callin my cell just got off phone with them threatened me with courts and to get me fired from job couldn't give me no info or nothing

I have been getting calls from a foreign individual, and he keeps calling constantly, if I hang up.  He has even called my supervisor and has constantly called my work place.   The number he gave me is 1-888-387-1419, and he calls me from 877-810-4090.  He has even used foul language towards me.  I would like to know, how I can stop this individual, along with the threats he is making.  These individuals must not be aware of the proper business practices of the USA.  He claims to be working for Cash Net.

I just got this call on my cell phone out of the blue.
I couldn"t understand them of course, but all I could understand was something about cash adcance, deposit, and she kept asking for a family member.
She started to get frustrated so I hung up. Not even 2 minutes later, they called my Dad's cell phone, I picked it up said, "we dont want any cash advances or anything from you." She that's not what it was about, something about deposit, speak to family member.
Then I asked for someone who spoke english, she got mad and hung up.

This is a scam people.  You may have filled out an online application for a payday loan at some point, and this is how they got your information.  They are out of the country and use prepaid cell phones to call.  They do nothing but harass and use scare tactics.  The only thing to do is have fun with them!  Use an even thicker accent if they call you!

These guys are in Florida somewhere. I get calls from them all the time, I get little bits and pieces of info when they call. I will continue to provide any info here I can. Hopefully when can get these guys. Charles.

I have been getting the same calls with the numbers you gave. Just about all of those numbers have called me. The guy told me he was from India but his company is in Florida. here is a new number from the same people 666-014-5489. This is how and why this country is going to s***. These guys have to be stopped. There is plenty of money to go after these guys, but I think the government doesn't really care. They will get what is coming to them someday. I will post more info if they call again. Maybe collectively we can nab these guys.

Received a call from 877-810-4090, person name Ted saying he was calling about a cash advance.com about a cash advance and how he wanted my companys information and the name and number of my attorneys but, refuse to give me there address. I went to this cash advance.com and ironically they mention the scam that these foreigners appear to be playing. I contacted the better business bureau they say try and get an address and that I can pay with a cashier check, never give my real account information. the called SEVEN TIMES at work.

For the last few weeks I have been getting these calls from a company that first called themselves Hudson Law Firm and then another company now called Kinney Law Firm sounds like they are not only changing their phone numbers but their names also.   I spoke to them yesterday  after they left a message with my payroll person and she forwarded it to me.  I called them and when they picked up they said hello......who says hello if your a business you announce the name of the business so I said who am I speaking with and they said Hudson Law I then told them I knew all about them how it was a scam and it was all over the internet about them when they called and asked the guy if he had anything to say for himself and he said no and hung up.  I did not tell them who I was I just called back to say my peace.  

They continue to call my cell also.  Same as all the other complaints he had a foreign dialect.  Today they call the payroll person again but this time we have a plan to have a witness and I put him on speaker and tell him I have a witness in the room to here what he has to say, she sits in with me on the call.  My thoughts if they want to keep doing this at some point I need proof I am being harassed.  The verbal battle was on he claimed he was from Kinney Law this time and I owed for a loan for US Cash Advance was going to in three days turn it into the courts, never did give me an amount I owed. I told him to formally serve me at my home with a legal document.  If it was truly a collection attempt.  He insisted to talk to my manager and I said why?  If the debts with me why would you speak to them?  Go through the process and garnish my wages if you have true legal intent.  Then let me talk to the payroll person he said and I said I already told you she is sitting right here what is it you want from her and he never answered, he said so she knows you committed fraud.  I said please give me your address so I can sue you and he rattled off a phone number and I said that is a phone number what is your address so I can sue you and then he hung up!  It is extremely frustrating to know someone has stolen your information but then to have them harass you night and day and at your place employment is ridiculous.  I hope someone out there can find these guys and do something about them once and for all. I am going to file a complaint wherever I can we need to keep talking about it and help it stop.  I will be chaning my phone number, my account, contacting the credit bureaus and anything else I need to do to make it stop.

I live in Seattle and answered the phone at my work.  A women with a thick Indian accent ask for "Jesse ______" but pronounced it JAYZEE so it took me forever to figure out who she was asking for.  I said, that person no longer works for our company. She got pissed, like it was my fault that she wasn't at this number. HA!
She then said, "I need to speak with the manager",.... "I am the manager",.... "I need to speak with whoever is above you",... "Well, no one is here right now"..."That is impossible, I NEED TO SPEAK WITH WHOEVER IS ABOVE YOU"...."(So now I'm P.O.'d that MY time is being wasted and I'm being harrassed) "WELL, I AM THE ONLY PERSON HERE RIGHT NOW, So if you want I can take a MESSAGE"
I agreed to take down her name and number, she made me repeat her name "JENNY COOPER", and her # to make sure I was actually writing it down - which was the 877#, but the caller ID had the The #206-336-7231 listed, but it was very apparent that she was not calling local.
I'm assuming its some sort of debt collector based on her threatening tone.  I want to call back and say im the "CEO" and see what she says.

I have been receiving messages for three months now. This last week has been really funny. A lady by the name of Rebecca left me several messages in one day stating she is with the crime investigation bureau and they may reach my employer and if I get fired that they at least tried to contact me.  So I just called this morning and a gentleman asked me to verify who I was and I told him I don't know who he is and I refuse to give my name, number I am calling from and he disconnected the call. I'm getting really ticked off and ready to call the Better Business Bureau and report them all. I'm saving every single message and putting out Telephone Harrassment as well.
