My curiosity will not let me pick up another 800 number.

I give as much as I   can for our Vets but these people are driving me nuts.   They call many times a week
and I wish they would stop.

It never stops, they and the other telemarketers call again and again. I have caller ID and no longer answer unknown numbers. I used to give to various charities, but I have found that they must have given out my number to other charities so more calls followed. It has become a rude intrusion.

I've been getting a lot of those calls too.  Luckily I now have Caller ID so I can screen my calls.  I also have Call Screening so they cannot call me again.  I'd strongly suggest it.

Just as all the others had mentioned about this number is true.   VERY ANNOYING!!!!

They are at it again and again.  I had several calls from this number.  I do not pick it up, as I do not know anyone who calls in such a pattern.  They leave no message and if it were on the level, they would do that.

I DISPUTE THE VALIDITY OF THIS GROUP.  VERY ANNOYING I HAVE TOLD THEM THAT I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY THEM AGAIN.  THEY CONTINUE TO SEND PLEDGE NOTICES EVEN AFTER
I PAY.  I STOPPED GIVING THEY NEED TO TAKE A DIFFERENT APPROACH IF THEY ARE LEGIT.

I have been getting calls from this number for over a month, 2 - 3 times daily.  Yesterday they started at 3:10 p.m. and ended at 8:50 p.m..  They never leave a message, or if someone else picks up their phone (because they must be multiuple computer dialing before my phone answering machine picks up at four rings) then my phone does not continue to ring.  From the time the calls start to when they end, it has to be from another time zone.  It must be a telemarketer, but I do not know who.  Unfortunately, I gave very generously to DAV orgizations at one time and feel they are calling me again, but cannot say for sure.

THEY ARE NOW REPRESENTING THEMSELVES AS "DISABLED VETERANS SERVICES."  CALLED 1 8778466858 BACK AND GOT THEIR RECORDING LOOKED THEM UP ON THE INTERNET  IT SHOWS NAME AND ADDRESS BELOW, MAY BE ANOTHER PROFESSIONAL SERVICED THAT GIVES ONLY A MINIMAL PERCENTAGE TO THE CHARITY INVOLVED.  DO NOT RESPOND TO TELEPHONE SOLICITATIONS OF ANY KIND

I donate to Disable Vets but can't they send something through the mail instead and support the Post Office?!!! I donate often and because of that I can't answer my phone anymore without someone asking for money!!!

Would like to stop the repeat calls from this number.

I'm tired of these guys calling.. We gave to them once, but now they call 2-3 times a day when we don't answer it, or once a week at least if we do. I looked them up and somebody posted that only 20% goes to disabled vets. These guys are a scam...

This number is annoying. They say they are some cancer thing.  They won't stop calling.  They insist someone in our house promised them a donation.  I tell them this number is on do not call.  Take us off their list. Stop calling.  They keep calling. :So I put the number in Call Block. They will call from other numbers a short period of days later.  For the same purpose. I have called these nuts swear names.  I don't regret what I call them. They bother me. I will call them anything I want.

How can i get these calls stopped to my home office business line?

Just got a call from American Vets, and went to their website to request they remove me from their call list.  I donated to them once in 2010, and thought I had indicated CLEARLY that that donation was to have been a one-time donation with no further ones forthcoming.  They have occasionally called since, and I hope this most recent time will be the last, otherwise I may report them to the Better Business Bureau as harrassment.

I get a call from this number at least twice a day but never answers it directly.  Today I decided to answer it just to see who this is that keeps calling.  I think when I asked who it was he said Hope Charities.  I then began to ask questions about his organization and why he was calling daily  and he became obnoxious so I hung up on him. If this is DAV, then I will probably stop contributing to them because of these "harassing" phone calls.  I have given generously to DAV in the past but I am now giving it a second thought.

Soliciting agency representing Disabled American Veterans.  When asked, only a measly 20% goes to the DAV.  I reminded them I already asked to be placed on their do-not-call list and to put me on it if they forgot last time they called.  By the caller ID, they have called many times per month during the times I have been away, and only this time I answered in person to see who it is that is so persistent in calling.

I did not answer as my caller ID indicated it was probably a marketing call. Out of curiosity I called it back and got a message stating they were disabled veterans. I have received many calls from this organization over the years & it seems they keep changing the number they call from. Very annoying people.
