JB Hunt is the most honest company I have worked for, KLLM Transport was too. I bend with JB for about two years and it's just getting better. They pay for my shirts and I never had any problems with my pay that they didn?t fixes, but that was only once. I made close to 50,000 Last year and they pay me for what I do. They ant going give you the money but they give you the work that?s for.

My husband was going to apply at JB and has heard nothing but horror stories about the company, so he decided not to. Maybe he should reconsider? We want to go OTR.

Thanks. It's nice to hear something nice instead of always negative stuff.

Seems like a likeable guy. I would like to get on with them if I didn't have such a bad background. My uncle drives for them and says they pay for sure and have benefits. No company seems to be perfect, where no one ever quits and eveyone is lining up to join. Trucking is trucking.

Who are they?
| pops 2010-09-11 21:52:27 Unknown |
sounds like sour grapes to me. I have been with them for about 10yrs and have had few problems. I have never been asked by dispach to run illegal and have even offered to push it and was told no. This is not from some JB drone, I use to own my own truck with North American van lines. I make about 5000 less a year driving someone else's truck with no headaches and get home every other day and weekends(out mon home tue alternate all week till sat then sun off). I have been doing this job for over 20yrs and most of the people who complain don't want to put any effort into the job. Ain't nothin in life for free.

Ok. I work for JB for 6 yrs, and I will agree it's no piece of cake, but they don't play went it comes to you doing your logs. I had a date wrong and I was pulled in to correct them. And I NEVER had a log violation! They suck in a lot in other areas, but I did manage to make over 50,000 a yr for 5 yrs. I only left because of an injury, but I am still bein taken care of due to the insurance. But I would say this, you got to watch them like a hawk! They will short change you on your paycheck, and you will be left hanging if you don't keep up with what you do.

These calls are from a recruiter for JB Hunt Trucking. JB Hunt is one of the worst companies to work for as a truck driver. They will want you to drive illegally and log illegally, just to get their loads delivered on time. They do not and will not ever care if you get caught, because they know that the tickets will be written to you, not them. You will have to pay for any and all fines if you get caught. And they will fire you immediately when you do get caught, because JB Hunt does not care about you!
