I'm sorry i don't understand how someone in Toronto can call from a Montréal phone number? + new phone numbers in Montréal can't get a 514 area code, it as been change for 438 since about 2 years.
Anyway, they called me yesterday evening and presented themselves as a Survey company and asked questions about t.v programs. I said i dont have a t.v and hung up. They didn't call back and hope they don't.

TNS is a global market research company. http://www.tnsglobal.com/
They have been around for 80 years doing market research. They are not telemarketers, and just because you put yourself on the "do not call list" that does not mean they can not call you. What that means is that telemarketers can not call you.
The fact that you have called this Alissa Trunova is disgusting to me. She works for various charities for the company and has nothing to do with who gets called and at what times.
If you have a problem with them calling just call the company directly and ask to be taken off the list.
Larry 2013-08-26 01:41:09 Survey
Do not be misled into believing these calls are from a genuine market research company called TNS. That is just their cover, and the calls in fact have a deadly serious purpose and if you have received a call or continue to receive calls from these people, it is not random - you have been targeted.
The calls are coming from a top secret government department, and either you or somebody close to you have got something in your past about which these government agents are anxious to get more information. Of course it could be that you are innocent of any wrongdoing and have nothing to hide, but the chances are that if they are calling you they already have information, which they may have obtained through their own research, or as a result of an anonymous tip-off. It is also possible that your day to day movements are being monitored.
This secret department of government, about which little is known, goes by the name of the Special Historical Information Tracking department.
You have been warned!

I bet most of you will probably think I work for them or something after reading this, but I'm really not, so take it for what you will.
I did actually receive the letter from the gov of Can which said they were doing a survey about employment with people who received an ROE sometime in 2011. I bet if you tell them that you don't want to take part in the survey, they'll stop calling. Pretty stupid of them to not leave a msg... they've been calling me to no answer for two or three weeks now.
I just might answer ans say I don't wanna do the survey the next time they call and see what they say. I'll post again, if I remember, and let you know how it goes.

RevengeRUS 2012-10-08 19:29:30 Survey
How about a little revenge on these people. I looked up the company and the person in charge of it is named Trunova. There is only two Trunovas in Toronto and I lucked on getting her father. I asked if he would like to participte in my survey on phone harassment. Her name is Alissa and she lives at 35 Cedarcroft Bl Toronto ON M2R 2Z4 the telephone number is (416) 792-0637. I have told this company multiple times and even left messages with both my telephone mubers to not call me again. They have ignored it so I am about to post this woman's parents number all over the place until they get the message. What is more is I am convicned that they are linked to the Credit Card fraud companies that call as when I do not cooperate with them all of a sudden I get a flurry of "urgent calls" threatening me about my credit card. This is not a survey company. They phrase themselves as such but they are nothing but a telemarketing company.
Annie 2012-10-08 19:01:25 Survey
I am convinced that this TNS is associated with the credit card fraud calling companies. I have received about 6 calls from them in the last week and when I refused to cooperate I started getting calls from that fraud number 250-453-2289. The thing is that company is not even talking to me, just calling and hanging up or putting me on hold. They too appear to be british as one time I pressed some numbers and it was tranferring me to someone named "Russell". They are one in the same company. This is the second time that I get a flurry of calls from both companies. If you are aggressive or hang up on the TNS they sic their credit card fraud on you. The police need to get wise to Information related crime. They are useless to us 30 years into the Information Age. They claim to be survey but they are actually marketing as all the questions pertain to various products.
