These scammers called my father and told him that they had a case pending against me with my county's DA office, for $500 check fraud. I haven't written any checks for $500, so I knew they were full of it. So after assuring my father that I was NOT going to jail, I took down the "case number" USC and Associates gave him and cross-referenced it with my county's DA office, and they said they don't even start their case numbers with the digits I gave them. I told my father to relay this to these jerkoffs the next time they call. I don't think he'll be hearing from them again after that.

Well folks USC and Associates have changed their number to 18552589318 and they are at it again with their scams and fraudulent activities!

My mother got a threatening and disturbing call for them. I believe its illegal what they are doing and i would like to do something about it. USC 888-267-1561

I just listened to a voice mail I had from USC and they said that they were going to serve me with papers at my job tomorrow. And if I couldn't be reach there they will come to my home. First of all, wouldn't they come to my house first if they were going to serve me? I have no idea what this place is or what they are wanting because they won't tell you anything!

Over the past couple of weeks my relatives and my mom have received calls from 877-890-5642 (USC & ASSOCIATES). On both occasions the caller who goes by the names David Shakarite and David Shakewell (Same Person) claims to work for a local Govt' Agency. David S. trying to portray he works for a local Govt' Office stated they have received a formal complaint that I have written a fraudulent check. David S. has stated if I do not contact them, a warrant for my arrest will be issued. David S. states at the end of his ridiculous message, I  have been officially notified. Notified of what ? They can't provide any proof and if you request information they mysteriously can't find it. If you try to look up USC & Associates on the Internet or in the yellow pages. You will not be able to find anything on this bogus bill collector. The only way I've found anything on them is putting their 877 number in the Internet. USC & Associates hide behind a veil of Anonimity. They  think they can talk to you anyway they want or break any of  The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). USC wants you to scare and intimidate and there is nothing you can do. If USC & Associates call you, your family, friends or employer. Please look up your consumer rights and know what this bogus bill collector can and cannot do. Also, if David Shakarite, David Shakewell, Jordan Simms or anyone from USC & Associates leaves a message on your phone. Make a copy of exactly what they state. Plus file a formal complaint with the Govt' Agency they supposedly dont work for. Also file formal complaints with The Federal Trade Comission (FTC) and your states Attorney General's Office.

A message was left on my phone saying my son was in trouble for check fraud and he needed to take care of the situation immediately or there would be consequences.

1/9/12. They had left a message on both my husband's and my cell phones saying someone was on their way to my home to serve me to appear in court. Her name was Mrs. Miller and I also have spoken with a Jordan Some. When I asked for something in writing because I had no idea what this was about they said they couldn't because people were altering the letterhead to say it was paid off. Then I asked where they were located I was told I would not find anything about USC anywhere...the internet, yellow pages. Mr. Sims sounded threatening towards the end of the call. They are still calling and leaving me messages. I have since filed a complaint with the FTC. If I own a debt I will pay it but I would like to know what it is. Glad to know this is a scam, I was getting very upset by these calls.

I have been getting calls daily from this number and now they are calling my family back east saying they are putting a warrant out for me and I have to go to court. I tried to call and talk to the guy and tell him that I don't owe anything and he was just yelling the whole time and wouldn't listen. I asked him to stop harassing me and he said he only called once. He said since I didn't want to take care of this he would see me in court. So tired of these scam calls. How can I stop this?

I got a call from #877-8905642 they first called my mother and told her that i have committed fraud and that i need to call them back. I call the number back ask for Linda Smith legal dept who left message with my mother i was very upset got male by then name of Benjarman Shaw who said i had payday loan and i owe $1500 told him did not owe sd that if i did not pay would have to go to court said fine I hung up. Then a lady call me back trying to scare me sd that if i did not pay this that she would send out warrent for my arrest to go to court for fraud told her send me something in writting then lady got upset and hung up.

I recieved a call from this number and was told that I has two warrants out.  One was from a supposed one-line payday loan company. I supposidly had taken a payday loan from them in Jan 2011.  The other charge was writing a bad check, with intent to commit fraud. I asked the woman who she was and she told me she represented a company named A.B.C.  I got the woman's supervisor who informed me that They were going to have me served and taken away.  To my recelection I do not recall taking a payday loan on-line.  I told her to bring the server i'll take my chances with the Judge. " WATCH OUT THEY ARE ASKING FOR ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFO. DON'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING!!!!!"

My sister received this call asking for me claiming I left her number as a reference and that I had two cases pending, in California. I have not had my sister's phone numbers for twenty years and have not been in California for twenty-eight years. My mother passed this message on and thinks it is a scam, so do I. Please help.

I just received a call here at work about 15 min ago.  The receptionist intercepted the call.  She was told they wanted to speak with my supervisor, which she didnt transfer.  She was told I had to call ASAP or they were going to serve me here at work.

I know my Consumer Rights.. and Debt Collectors are not supposed to divulge any information related to debt to anyone without your prior consent.

I am definitely not going to call back.

I JUST GOT A UNKNOWN CALL FROM THIS MAN NAMED MARSHAL STATED HE JUST GOT PAPERWORK FOR A BAD CHECK AND HE NEEDED ME TO CALL THIS 877-890-5642 TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE HE SAID HE NEEDED MY CURRENT ADDRESS AND CURRENT WORK INFORMATION BUT HE CALLED FROM A BLOCKED NUMBER

Someone from USC and Associates called my relatives looking for me. The person Left a phone number and stated I needed to call within the hour or they would issue a warrant for my arrest. This is a bunch of crap. One, I have no idea what this is about. Two, if this is a bill collector they can't issue warrants. Only LE can issue a warrant which you've got to have Probable Cause for. If any of you receive a call from USC and Associates. They are using scare tactics to get you to call. Don't let them scare you.

Constant calling with no leg to stand on and they must be desperate because they can not seem to prove the debt you so call owe!!!!

I got a call from my employers HR department saying they were called from this number and that they were looking for a call from me within the hour or they would be coming to my place of employment to serve me with a warrant. The company was USC and associates and the man I spoke to was a Joradn Simms. This was from a pay day loan dated back in 2008 that I do not even recall taking form the company he said he represented. He said they would take me to court and garnish my wages and they had a 97% success rate in their cases. I told him you could not get blood from a turnip and I would have to see what I could arrange. I did a google search on the company and have found that this is a scam company trying to collect on a debt that they bought up. Anyone else having issues with USC and associates?
