This is a collection agency posing as a 'management company'. They advise you that someone has listed you as a reference for employment. They transfer you to a rep and then proceed to discuss a collection account in detail without confirming who you are besides your name. This happened to be about my school loans. This is a valid loan but I had already filed deferment paperwork. They were very threatening, stating they were going to garnish my wages. They demanded $1000 AND a good faith payment of $5.00 and then they would see what they could do about my deferred loan..... yet, they were unable to answer very important and valid questions. The rep told me she was going to tell the lender I refused to pay on the loan and they can pursue me legally. Then she hung up on me. I never refused to pay! Wow!

They call daily and leave no message.  This is really a stupid prank.

I got a call from these people and I answered. It was some Indian guy (like from India) and he was calling me to tell me that I have been accepted for a loan at Liberty Loan. First thing that struck me was that I don't remember applying for any loan. The next thing, I told him I couldn't hear him (it really was hard) because I could hear dozens of other people and phone ringings in the backround. He asked if I wanted to go over the application with him. In the middle of me saying that I was in the middle of something and asked if he could call back later, he just hung up on me. How much do you want to bet that he was going to ask me for confidencial information (i.e. my SSN). Stupid scammers, if I knew where you were, I'd have my friend put a virus on all your computer systems. That would make them leave ALL of us ALONE!!

They keep calling me today too about 15 times so far.  No message left and if you call it back it says not a working number?  Im beginning to get pissed!

they call me from this # several times a day and no one is ever on the phone...it's really annoying....i'm also on the do not call list and it does no good!!!!

Im sick and tired of these calls!!! i have gotten more than a hand full of calls on my cell and i wish they would STOP calling me!! JUST STOP. they call and leave no message. if you really want to call me leave a message. Im on the dont call list with my land line and cell list. SO STOP HARRASSING ME

I keep getting calls from this number all day.  When I pick up there is nothing there is never an answer.  My phone just shuts off.  How can I stop this.

Tis number constantly calls me. They do not reply when I answer the phone. There is NEVER an answer.

883-974-1696 is not a valid number. If you are sure that you got a phone call from a number beginning with this prefix, the caller may have 'spoofed' caller ID.
