they got me for $3.95!!! clamed it was s/h fee for the vacation pkg that will be mailed to me. Then 2 days later they put through a second charge for $189.69

have not answered this number but who ever it is is calling often and it is getting anoying would like to know what is going on

They keep calling my cell phone.  I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau website under "American Exotic" and they have an F rating.  You can file a complaint about them. It's interesting that they, meaning the BBB, has not been able to reach them at their supposed address.  It is definitely a scam.

Yeah, I've gotten a few call from this # also.  You would think cell phones would have a block feature on them.  Maybe they do now but the old LG I have doesn't.  What I do if a 800 number like this calls more then once.  I add them to my contacts list in the cell phone (TeleM 1, TeleM 2, etc.)and set thier ring tone to Silent.  That way they can call all they want and it doesn't annoy me.  Every other unknown or friend has a normal ring tone and I will not miss thier calls.

A foreign gentleman named Ron Williams (obviously not his real name) called me and told me I'd been offerred a free vacation and $1000 shopping spree.  When I asked him where he got my information (he was able to read ME my mailing address) he said it was from the vendors at the shopping malls.  All he needed was my credit card info for the $3.95 Shipping Fee.  I asked if I could call the company back later after I looked them up.  He said that I can't call them, he'd call me back.  He was also trying to grill me about payment.  You should never have to give your card information to anyone calling you over the phone!

got a call from a ron saying i won a special package, when i told him i wasn't interested he proceded to ask me my measurments, after i asked for a supervisor he said that he didn't have one. i told him to remove me from any call list he said that he wanted to meet me. he then started masterbating on the phone, so i hung up. he called back again 10 minutes later.

i got a call from the same number telling me the same things. They said that me and my wife could go anywhere we wanted to for only $4, and that they would pay 1,000 for all the food expenses. we thought it was a scam and started to what their company was called and they told us American Exotic vacations. we came upon this page and hung up. "not gettin my credit card pin #... B**ches!!"

This number called me and said they were calling from American Exotic... I interupted the guy and said "Put me on your DO NOT CALL list." He said F@*K you and hung up.

I JUST GOT THE SAME CALL AS ALL OF THE ABOVE FROM AMERICAN EXOTIC VACATIONS FROM SOMEONE OBVIOUSLY FROM INDIA...FOR $2.66 ME AND MY HUBBY COULD GO ANYWHERE WE WANTED ON VACATION I LOOKED UP THIS SIGHT WHILE SHE WAS ON THE PHONE...I TOLD HER IT WAS A SCAM AND HUNG UP.  THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING EVERYDAY.  WHEN I TOLD HER IT WAS A SCAM AND I FOUND A WEBSITE THAT SAID SO SHE SAID THERE WAS A WEBSITE THAT SAID MICROSOFT WAS A SCAM TOO...WHATEVER. DON'T BUY IT!!! THEY HAD A DIFFERENT NUMBER THIS TIME SO BE CAREFUL. THEY MUST THINK ALL AMERICANS ARE STUPID

Someone named Charles Williams called me and said he was a supervisior from American Exotic vacations. My name had been drawn for a $1000. gift card for any restraurt in my area and an exclusive three days and two nights to anywhere for a fee for the shipping of the package for only $3.95. When I refused the second time he told me to f*** off. This had to be a scam.

i just got a call fromthis number and he said he was fron utah and that his name was jack... he was being extremely rude so i hung up. he called back asking why i hung uo on him and he started saying my address but would not tell me why he was calling... CREEPY

Ive been getting calls too. I don't know how they got my information, let alone my cellphone number. I did try calling the number back and recieved a message along the lines of "This option is not available"

Same thing... numerous calls from the foriegn man with a vacation.  I advised that I am on the do not call register list and he says he is not soliciting and continue to call.  He did not use any vulger language with me as stated above but continued to convince me that I had one the vacation and he was opening a new resort.  I hope he does call back so that I can be as vulger with him as he has with other's in the past, but that probably lights his fire... the calls have been going on for a few weeks, then went away and now called again.  There is no ph# with the prefix #'s of 000  B*****ds!

Got a call from this number and I missed it, so I googled it and found myself here.  Forewarned and forearmed, I had a nice 3 minute chat with a guy called Melvin.  A lovely guy.  Told me he had a gift for me but the cheeky blighter wanted $3.95 to send it to me.

I Got 2 calls from the number today. both times i anwserd and they hung up. i tried to call back and the number didn't exist.

I received 4 calls yesterday and finally answered last night.  He stated the same thing that he was from an agency and had a vacation trip for me. I came right out and said that i wasn't interested and to please take me off the list.  he stated that i was breaking his heart.  i continued to ask to take me off the list and he refused.  then i asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and he said he i could when i met him.  he continued to ask if i was married,single, living alone, had any kids.  I was starting to scream in the phone and my fiance grabbed the phone and started yelling.  the gentlemen said that i was his girlfriend and he has known me for a long time.  he then hung up on the gentlemen.  he was getting to be out of control.  i then called my phone company and they wern't able to figure out who it was and also called the police.  i have children and my fiance works late so i was pretty freaked out. I live in MA.  so i'm sure who ever this As#$%#@ is he is enjoying every bit of it.  I hope he gets caught soon.

I have been recieving many calls from this number at all times of the day and evening. Thsy started about 4 weeks ago stopped for a short period and now have started agagin. I don't answer but am getting very sick of this nonsense

I received a call from some idiot named "George" with a middle eastern accent as well, stating he was from American Exotic Vacations  and I asked to be removed from his calling list, because I was on a Do Not Call Registy, and then he said why you do not like vacations, you do not want to talk to me and I said NO, Please remove my number and when I asked to speak to his supervisor he wouldn't let me, I finally hung up. I am so tired of people trying to take advantage of trustworthy americans. Never give any information out to a company that calls you asking for your personal information.

I got lot of call this numer. I picked once and those people had my name and address detail and that I have won $1k voucher and toursim for 2-3 days etc. Non-sense. Nothing is free in the world.

I just got the same phone call too. I said "not interested" and hung up and now they have called and hung up on me 2 more times. I am near New York, not sure where you are, but I don't know how to get them to stop and don't feel like paying a fee for my phone company to block that specific number.

I got a few calls from this number so i answered it, i thought it was legitimate because they knew my first and last name, my address(including my apt#), and my cell phone#.  I just listened for the majority of the call the guys name was Rick (which is kind of odd to me hearing his thick accent) he said he represented American Insurance Services and how they had a connection with the Better Busines Bureau and I won 2-3 day vacation and $1000 vouchers to different resturants and what not.  I'm not gonna lie I was interested until he said "all you have to do is pay the $3.95 postage fee" over the phone. At that point I told him I wasn't comfortable with giving my information over the phone.  His mood changed, and he began to get impatient with me. After going back and forth we finally hung up.  I'm still worried because they have my information without me giving it to them.

Looks like I'm not the first one to get the same call. This was a guy which broken English and said his name was Rohan. With his strong accent, I knew he had to be from India or Indian continent.
The number might be an Internet generated. He could not tell me specifically how he got my information but he had my home phone and address. He even claimed that by using my credit card, it will verify my home address for the delivery of the information. That is creepy, almost to show that they have some form of CC database or information on hand. Told him to take my name off the list and did the M*F*** and told me to hangup but for some reason he didn't want to hangup first. Not sure for the reason but hopefully we can eventually find a trend or backtrack where the call was generated.
