Despite what the idiot at Chase told you, it is possible that these calls indicate that your child is a victim of identity theft.  Because kids have a "clean slate", and aren't likely to be checking their credit reports, they make an attractive target for crooks.

You might want to go to annualcreditreport.com and make sure nothing funny is going on in her name.

BMW financial keeps calling my 12 year old, after waiting 20 min to get an actual person, I was told to put her name on the dont call list and not to bother them,that they are a financial institution

This is a legitimate call from the loan department at BMW. So, if you have a loan with BMW (actually handled by Chase) it is legit.  If not, call them and let them know they are calling a wrong number and hope that they do the right thing.  If they don't do the right thing, try calling BMW corporate (number on their web site), as they tend to get things straight which may hurt their reputation with the buying public.

Did you have an account with them?  I received a collection call from them and have never heard of them.  Sounds like a scam...
