This is absolutely crazy. I know Daniel personally and he actually does work for a collection company. Which aquires the debt from credit card companies, student loans, and other various creditors. If he is calling you it is either your debt or a family members debt he is calling about.  They are trained to reach out to anyone associated with the debtor. So if they are looking for you stop playing innocent and try to muck up someone's name. You have a debt and you need to pay it, it's that simple.

FYI, you can always file a complaint with the Attorney General in your state. Collection agencies have been called to testify before congress recently to explain their tactics. Calling your neighbors or calling you at work is against the law. You can also file a harassment complaint with the local police department. Misrepresenting their reason for calling is fraud.

Debt Collector
Hey everyone,

He IS a debt collector.  That's why he's calling friends, relatives, and work places of those people. That's his job.  If your friends, relatives, and such weren't defaulting on their credit card debt, you wouldn't be receiving these calls.  I've known him for 5 years and his business is legit.  He's not doing anything illegal.  And Alliance One records and review phone conversations of all of their reps.  He's not doing anything illegal.  Believe it or not, but people who skip out on  their debt tend to be difficult to locate for some reason.....hmmm, surprise.
As for ANON, what would any he does in his personal life have to do with what he does for a living?  Not to mention the fact that everything you said is completely untrue.  And, if by styling hair(for which he went to school for) is scamming girls...there's alot of scammers out there...go arrest everyone at Fantastic Sams.  He stopped styling hair because a car accident that hurt his shoulder doesn't allow him to style hair anymore.  He's one of the nicest guys you'll meet, and if you do call him, he'll help you settle your debts.

I know Daniel Vishnevetsky, when he isn't trying to roofie girls at the clubs downtown Minneapolis on the weekends he is trying to make a buck.  He is the sneakiest Russian I know, and I have known him since high school over ten years ago.  This guy is no good but tries to dress up and play the part of a con business guy.  Beware of him.  He is dangerous on a personal and business level.  He spent a few years trying to con young ladies out of money as a "stylist" of sorts and I guess after every salon in Minneapolis wouldn't have anything to do with him he went into debt collecting and skip tracing.

This guy called me about a neighbor. He made it sound like he was concerned for their safety because he couldn't reach them. I hope my neighbors file a complaint against him, though I won't without their permission.

This guy Daniel called my grandmother in another state.  He didn't totally represent himself in an honest way.  It told her it was regarding a legal matter, but couldn't discuss it further.  He also said his name was "Daniel Vish".  Has anyone actually NOT called back by the specified date? If so, what happened?  Can he file a suit or anything?

This character called me yesterday, Setp 16, 2008. First words out of his mouth was asking if I had a lawyer! Took me awhile to get his name and company info - he's with Alliance - a collection agent for Capital One Visa. He is ridng strong on the grey area of being a scam. Claimed he would work with Capital One and myself to settle any debts. The funny part about this is I've been working w/ Visa to try and settle with no luck. Both this guy and Capital are horrible businesses. I recommend canceling any cards w/ Capital One and to tell this guy to bug off.

Daniel Vishnezetcky called purporting to need to reach a relative or her lawyer by a certain date and time, but refused to state the nature of his business.  After I refused to provide info to him, he tried to make it sound like something tragic would happen if he wasn't contacted.  When I did not cooperate and I insisted that he give me his full name, name of his company and nature of his business, he asked if I was conducting some type of private investigation.  This makes me believe he has concerns that HE is being investigated.  I think he should be...does anyone know how to report this guy to some authorities?

All the info I have leads me to believe Daniel Vishnevetsky is working for Alliance and is trying to collect money for various companies such as Capital One. If you have settled an account with anyone or are in any processes of the sort you may want to contact them so they can contact Alliance.

My little message to Scam artists was a blanket statement to all of them as I've been getting allot of (888) (000) (866)... calls that don't pan out. It was not specific to "Daniel"; just in the same comment screen.

I received a call from Daniel Vishnevetsky this evening. He left a message asking me to call him back at 888-211-1330. He also called family members in another state looking for me.

Scam artist: SHAME ON YOU!!! You do know better and one day in the darkness of your solitude you will realize that piggish behavior reaps piggish rewards...

Got a call from Daniel Vishnezetcky.  He gave this phone number as the number to call.  Said to contact a person that listed me as a reference (someone I am surprised would list me as a reference).  Said he could not give much information, as any information was protected under the privacy act, however that there was a severity of situation that urged me to have this person contact the company or Lisa (Daniel's secretary) within the next week.  The company name he gave was "Alliance."  At this point I do not know how much this urgency is on the up-and-up, however the caller (Daniel) did have my full name and the contact's full name, which I would think would be difficult to obtain if this were not the case.  Will add more info if I get any.
