I have getting repeated calls from thsi number.
When I call it goes to busy.

It's me again.  These guys called back again and I talk to Britney.  She wanted to find out if we wanted to renew our subscription to DM News magazine.  I said no and she thanked me and was gone.  I am guessing that was not the magazine itself but a call center.

1-888-215-6578 along with 6682, 6591, 6286, 6592 all do the same thing. They call, i answer, hear some clicking on the other end if anything, then they hang up. I called them back, and nothing. They're intention comes at a cost. Everytime they call and my vm picks up, i get charged a minute, which is about 3 c. a call including taxes. Gonna try the no-call list if it still works.

This number has been calling me 4 or 5 times a day at work for over a week and someone was finally on the line today to offer me a magazine subscription.  I promptly hung up on him.

Very Rude and won't identify themselves.  They ask for me with my middle name.  Won't leave a message.

they call 5 times a day for several days now. Most of the time no one answers, but I think it's Daily  News for New Jersey - the same number comes up when a person answers and offers subscription

Keep getting calls everyday... roughly the same time each day.  I call back (on a different line) - sounds like it gets forwarded to a foreign number (the ring tone changes) and then beeps (like an answering machine).

They call me at least very 25 minutes.  I pick up, and no one is there.  They are invading my privacy!  Help!

Kept calling and when I went to answer after about 6 rings there was no one on the line.  Must be a telemarketer.

I have been receiving calls from this automated calling system, 888 215 6578, for about 2 months now, maybe longer.  No live person yet.  I am on the do not call list.  I will answer next time and wait for a live body and tear them a new one.

Calls everyday ~930AM and 3PM.....

This number calls every day and when you answer the phone there is no on the other end of the line.

We receive calls from this number as everyone else says.  My solution is to answer - stay on the line and waste as much of their time as possible.  I even have said "Hold on - I'll get that person for you!" and then let the phone sit while I continue my work.  May or may not work but it gives me a chuckle and uses up their time.

I got called by this number once last Friday and twice today 10/21.  Just ignoring it

Dang. This is serious. I just recieved my second cal lfrom these bozos. 10/22/07 11:52 am CST.

They just called back as I typed.  This time I held the line until someone came on the line.  It was a woman from a magizine company.  I told her she had been reported because I have a No Call (Solicitation) number. She promptly hung up.

Most everyday I get a call or calls from 1 888 215-6578 on my business line.  When I answer who ever it is hangs up.  If this person has Business with me then state it.  If they have nothing to say - why are they calling.  This is very annoying.  How can I make this stop?

I get calls every day on my virgin mobile cell.  When I answer they hang up.  If you call back it rings 3X and then switches to a fax.  We should call them all day long to run up their bill like they do to ours.  They suck.  I hope they get murdered.

I get a call from 8882156578 every day ~3:30PM ET... never a message, always hang up when I answer

Finally got a human being when they called this time (after hundreds of hang up calls).   Said they were from Airport Business magazine (I am sure other publications use this telemarketing service also). These people keep calling. When I answer, they hang up. I wish these idiots would stop. I've even tried to call the number back and never get an answer. Scumbags ....

this just started last week on Monday - it is normally between 0900 and 1000 EDT and there is never anyone on the line.  I also got a fax machine when I tried calling it back - have also received calls to my cell from the other number others have listed here on this site.

This number 888-215-6578 & 888-215-6579 calls 2-3 times a day and no one answers when I pick up.  Then when try to call back it is either busy or it is a fax machine.

I work midnights and I work out of town. I receive the same BS calls every morning at 0930. I tried to call back but only get a fax dail tone. I wish i could reach through the phone to "touch" someone.

Its not they, its an it.  There's a device that dials numbers and looks for a voice response on the other end, when it receives a positive response, it kicks the call over to an agent.  The dead air you hear is the wait for the next available agent.  Best bet is to wait for the agent and than proceed to take care of business.  Calling back is a waste of time as the company decides what number to put out and how to treat call backs (eg: a loud squawking fax)

I keep getting calls from this number. They always hang up when we anwser When you call them back you get a fax. We now just hang up as soon as the number comes up on Caller ID.

Maybe we should all start faxing 24/7 to this number.
