I dont know how collections agencies work, but when these people kept calling i finally gave in to figure out what it was about. They told me me i had money i had to pay. I looked into it and talked to the manager and they said theyd help me. I thought id give it a try and if anything happened i would contact my bank. Followed through, did all the steps they asked and settled so i didnt have to go to court. They sent me a "Paid in full" letter and said theyd notify everyone i paid it in full and i called the company i had the card with and they did! i was so shocked! I asked if i could work with them for the rest of my debt too but they couldnt do that. Bummer. So im not sure exactly whats going on but through all the phone calls it was worth settling my debt for cheap haha. Good luck everyone! :)

Sheriff Detective. A citizen kept receiving calls from NCN looking for a person who the citizen did not even know. They threatened to send the Sheriff Office to his house even when he told them he did not know the guy so he called my office and reported them. They called again and left their number. I called the number and they advised they were NCN and asked for case number. I identified myself as a detective with a Sheriff Office. I spoke with a craig and gave him the name they said they were looking for. I was told that my reporting Party must have the wrong number and denied knowing anything about the name I gave him. I called my reporting party back and listened to his message. The on his answer machine 888-219-9901 and it also gave a case number. I called the 888 number back and pretended that I was the person that the message was left for and gave them the case number. I was then told by the receptionist that she found the case and that she seen the reporting party phone number on it. I asked three times to speak with craig after I identified myself. Never happened I was told they would remove the number from their system and told me to have a nice day.

I believe this is a collection agency by the initials of NCN. They wanted to contact a tenant of mine and somehow left a message on my wifes cell phone. Didn't help them out.
