This Tony Louis jokester bought 8 laser printers from a company in Denver with my credit card in June -- I live in California.  It was the only fraudulent charge on my card.  The bank cancelled the card and reversed the charge, but the Denver company is out $2990.  Had the vendor required address verification and the security code for the card, the charge would not have been approved.  Don't have a clue how he got my credit card number and expiration date, but that was all he needed since the vendor did not utilize any fraud filters.

Don't shop over the phone or on line with merchants who do not require your billing address and security code, along with the expiration date.  That extra data protects against fraudulent charges.

I have been involved in a dating scam that ended with an email from the name and address below that doesn't exist as far as myself and my therapist can tell. The lady I dated was named Adhuna Waverly and due to my divorce and current loneliness I fell for it full forced. I provided a fair amount of money to hopefully come visit me in the United States in the Bay Area. Please let me know if possible, what this whole thing involves and if there is any way to find out more about it and how complicated it may be?

I recieved a fax from a Offshore Firm, from Tony Louis.  It requested a quote on ink cartridges for printers.  Says they are in Roswell New Mexico which is funny with a name like Offshore.  I receive scams like this all the time, first they request a quote, then they always accept the quote, then use stolen or fake credit card numbers to buy them.

I got the same thing from them today.... What a DIC....

    'OffShore Firm" is trying to order printer cartridges for his HP Color Printer from me (They are about $300.00 Each and the machine takes 4 of them) Little does this IDIOT know he tried the same scam on me last month but used a different company name, some construction company in Vegas... Anyways the moron used the same name Mr. Tony Louis... Buddy give up and get a LEGAL JOB and stop scamming people.

this one came to me on 6/2/10

when i tried to call the number back 888-432-3336 ext 2 something inside of me told me that this company was not real.  After several attempts to get this Tony Louis on the phone I emailed the individual my necessary credit card form because he casually indicated that he was not interested in creating an account with us.  Sign number two.  When a company finds good pricing they usually want to fill out a credit report because it eliminates the 3% charge that is associate with running a credit card.  He seemed not to mind it at all that i was going to charge him more.  Also his credit card information did not match up.  Also I live in a community with plenty Africans and know of them names are Tony Louis.  :-)

The family that scam together stays together - got a fax from Tony Louis from Offshore Firm in Roswell, NM 888-432-3336 x:2.  They wanted a quote on HP toner cartridges.  

They have a non existant website which is registered with chillydomains.com:  offshorefirm.org

I got a toll free fax#: 800-710-1060.  Time to fax them the The Bible and The Encyclopedia Brittanica

My Father received this exact same message.  This letter says his deceased client whom We share the same family name with died due to a heart related condition on November 11 2001.  Telephone number is 011 27 71 072 6578 and Fax number is (760) 418-8214.

Barrister Jose Louis has now moved to Pretoria, South Africa and is also trying to distribute USD7,520,000.00 from the estate of Late John Grant to my Foundation. Just got this fax today.  The wording in every paragraph shows lack of grammar, lol. I also noticed from other posts that the return fax numbers are different from mine.

In the first place,how does anyones fax number get in the hands of people like this scammer ? In the second place every one knows that a lawyers office is a BM chamber. We call them shithouses where I come from.

We received a fax at my husband's place of business from 888 221 2960 from "Offshore Legal Firm" a Division of Optimum Mobile Diesel Service, advising that he was made a beneficiary to the estate of John Grant in the amount of $7,520,000.00.  (Yeah, right!) They give the name of Barrister Jose Louis (For Trustees), Managing Partner (Offshore Firm), Panama, Republic of Panama, with a telephone number of 800-599-3142; fax 888-370-3157 and an e-mail address of law@bmchambersattorneyonline.com.  I sent an e-mail from my office, asking for information and have not heard a response.  Guess they may have gotten a little rattled since I work for a law firm.  I told my husband it was a hoax, but things like this need to be stopped.

I recieved the same information.  No doubt, it is a scam.

Also received wanting to give me 7.5 million. Think I'll reply to them, "I don't need it,"
