they called me twice on 9-22-09 and then again at 1pm on 9-23-09, i missed all three calls but when i called back it wouldn't connect me with anyone, just rang and then picked up and then silence.

Also receiving calls mostly twice per day. I called the FTC hotline at least three times but the calls have not stopped. VERY disappointing. Amazingly, I returned home and there was an actual message from Time-Warner coinciding with that number. First time. I am thrilled now that I actually have someone to go after. I'll report back if I have any success.

They've been calling me at all hours of the day and night... weekday and weekend.  It's very annoying, they've been calling for over two weeks.  I tried to call them back and they connected me to the Time Warner cable promotional number and put me on hold.

They have been calling my phone for over a week. It's ALWAYS when I'm at work, so I just get the missed call. Once they called at 8 am and I answered. They asked for my husband, who was still asleep. I told them he was unavailable. They said to have him call Time Warner. He called them later in the day and the lady said she had no idea why they keep calling!

I called TW a few months back to ask if I could get their new total home dvr service alone or if I had to take the stupid package with broadband and home phone too.  They told me it was ONLY available as a package.  The person I talked to was a jagoff so since I rarely used my home phone and some of my premium channels I canceled them.  Now I get calls all the damn time.

I get called once or twice a day. I requested to be taken off of this list AGAIN tonight, so we'll see what happens. Oh, Time Warner... Also, when I called Time Warner, they told me it does NOT matter if I am on the Do Not Call list. Since I am with the company and receive services from them, they're apparently allowed to call.

I got this call again tonight.  When I answered it nobody was there!!!  I called the number back to request they remove me from there call list.  They actually did it without any questions.  Now I will just have to wait to see if they call yet again.  Hopefully not!

So tired of getting phone calls on my cell phone for services I do not want. That is why I got rid of my home phone (Land Line). Now it seems that its going to be spreading on to my cell phone now. Looks like I have to find the application for my phone to block phone numbers that I do not want calling me.

TIME WARNER SUCKS!

Ever since I dropped their TV service they have been pestering me at least once a month with SPAM phone calls trying to sell me all of their services. "Do you want our phone service?", NO. "Do you want our TV services?", NO. "OK, well, I'll call back in a few weeks to see if you changed your mind.", No! don't call me ever again, God Damn It!.

They should be called, "Slime Warner".

I have gotten a call from this number four times a day on my cell phone for weeks and had to do a google search to find out who it was. My cell is definitely on the DNC list. Isn't there any government monitoring of these telemarketing abuses?!

They call me at home. They call me during work hours. I don't answer their calls, but it is a distraction to pull out my cell phone when I expect it to be a family member with a critical matter only to see that it is, yet again, Time Warner calling. They just called me twice during the past 15 minutes, while I am at work. Which drove me to Google the phone number.

Getting this as well. Called TWC, asked to be placed on do not call list. After a 20 min call of being redirected finally got the confirmation that I was added to the do not call list. 3 days later I recieved a call from the number again. Called in again and the rep said that it can take up to 30 days to be added to the do not call list.

Me: "So, I can expect to be receiving these calls and being hung up on for the next 30 days?"
TWC Rep: "Yes, I am very sorry sir. While I have you on the phone, would you be interested in adding cable to your high speed internet?"
Me: "[laughs] No."
TWC Rep: "What if I told you that you could add 74 channels to..."

I get a call from this number nearly every day - and it's not the same time either - sometimes its 11am, sometimes it's 8pm - all I know is that it's really annoying.  If you answer, nobody's on the other side, and if you call back, nobody answers.  I eventually looked the number up and found out that it's Time Warner.  After dealing with daily phone calls from them for 2 months, I decided to call their customer service on Saturday and ask to be removed from their call list.  The representative said she would take the proper steps to remove me from the list and apologized.  I thought the problem was resolved when I didn't receive a call from them on Sunday, but was proven wrong when I received one on Monday.  I will call yet again and demand that I be removed from the list otherwise I will report them to the BBB.

I received one call per day from this number so I decided to do a search to find out who it is.  I called the number back and yes, it is Time Warner Cable.  I already have their service and I asked the man who answered to please take me off their solicitation list.  He was very polite and said that if we already had TW, he does not know why we are getting calls from them and that he will remove my number from their list.  Hopefully the calls will end.

What a hoot.  I got a call today from 888-222-5389, no message and I didn't answer.  Now I see that it's Time Warner.  We have their service, not happy with it, but we have it and I've been trying to get in touch with a sales rep that can explain to me why my next door neighbor has phone, high speed internet and cable with over 200 channels for less than $100 a month and we get high-speed internet and cable of only 59 channels, NO phone, for $120 a month!!  I've tried to get them to lower our rate and even cancelled before and went to Direct TV, but they won't deal.  Every time I call (I last called in June 2009), they can't explain the difference between my neighbor and me but they won't lower our monthly bill and give us additional channels either.  Oh, by the way, my neighbor also has a DVR!!!  The people are idiots, morons... And, I also know from an employer that they RECORD your phone conversations with them too, so be careful of what you say.

I have Time Warner cable and just recently upgraded to HD, now they keep calling me about getting a phone line, about once a day at various times and on Saturdays as well.  I have no idea how to get them to stop calling since they have my cell number for my account since we have no need for a home phone.  I just don't answer anymore and they never leave a message!
