They have been reciting this number for the past week on the radio to call to schedule a childrens audition for a Disney/Nick casting agent while they are here in Jacksonville.

I just got a message from this number saying I won a free trip to the Bahamas

got the same message. Won a free trip for two to the bahamas. Went to www.fcc.gov and filed an online complaint. Took <5 mins. I highly recommend you do that because just posting on this website does nothing to the spammer. it only warns or informs others. But if the FCC gets a complaint on file they have to follow up and investigate. We can all help each other by filing complaints with the FCC for these spam texts or spam calls to our cellphones. Let's all help one another keep our cellphones for our own use and not for telemarketers to interrupt our lives, our meetings, and invade our privacy by calling us at inappropriate or inconvenient times to hawk their wares. Is there nothing sacred anymore? www.fcc.gov. just do it!

I receive a text too yesterday from 8882283498 saying I won 2 tickects to the Bahamas.

I got this as a text too, except it was for a Bahamas cruise and the text came from 316-284-7671

Got a text from 8607103178 that my cell phone won a cruise and i need to call 8882283498. I guess its a scam.

I recived a text with two tickets to the bahamas.  SPAM/SCAM

I got a text message from this phone number indicating I have won 2 tickets for vacation to the Bahama islands. Believe it is a scam.

Got the same message, did not book any sort of vacation or car rental. would say definitely spam

This text message exists in several other 888 numbers on this page. I'm willing to say it's a scam to get people's credit card numbers for the "Car Rental" portion of the text. I received my text today from 718-362-7510.

"Exclusive promo: your [phone number] has been chosen for a trip for 4 to disney, daytona resort for 7 days, 6 nights with purchase of car rental call: 888-228-3498."

The bad puctuation and capitalization alone is enough to make me wary.

Got the same text just now...strange way to notify a winner if it's legit.  Not packing my bags anytime soon!

Got a call from a south Alabama 251 prefix telling me I had won a trip for four to disney/daytona resort and to call this 888 228 3498 number. Fake obviously.

Multiple calls from this number.
