So, does it make any sense to have ku put some sensor on your ac unit and run the "fan" for 12 minutes in a 30 window...during the peak summer months for a $5 credit for those months?

What will their "conservation" cost me in the long run?

They did say that ku would only do it at a max of 20 times in 4 months but that can be 20 times this month and none the rest. So basically, you're giving them the authorization to run your fan for an hour each month and you just get $5 credit per month..for an hour of electricity?

What am i missing and why is this a good deal?
