I've BEEN on the DO NOT CALL LIST for years, so obviously that doesn't matter & reenewing automatically for $160/year is fricken ridiculous!

I thought it was X,M but I just looked up their number juuust to make sure because those jerks just woke me up! Calling every single day at all hours should be illegal!

Just called XM --after several weeks any MANY calls with nothing but static--I get an XM operator telling me I had an extra month of XM service and I owe them $13.46 for not renewing my contract with XM--I didn't even notice that I no longer had service!!!!  What a SCAM--If they wanted me to renew they could have contacted me in a variety of ways, but to call and harass me....come on XM--I will never subscribe to your service again!

Hey XM--if you call my home at least SAY SOMETHING--don't call and then hang up like a teenage girl!!!!

XM radio calls and calls but under no circumstances would I allow them one thin dime of my money.  But in retrospect I sure appreciate their service for free.  I hope it continues hahahahaha call all you want I just click the dump the caller button and bubye XM

I am recieving several phone calls a day from this # I have cancelled XM service I hope to think it is not them. But I want this number to stop calling since they never leave a message or answer when I pick up.

It is XM Radio calling.  I had XM in a previous car.  When I got rid of the car, I called to cancel XM radio.  They said I had a small balance but would cancel the amount due.  That was 4 months ago. They had been calling once a month and I told them that I already talked to someone and they were waiving the amount due and I asked them to not call me again.  Since last week, they call 2X-3X per day.  I told them I am not paying the bill and to stop calling.  This doesn't seem to stop them.

You would think that they would finally get the message and stop calling- its been 2 months.  I spoke to them once and told them to have a customer service rep to give me the option for XM radio  "Oh we don't do that"  Made me even more inclined not to renew the service.  If they can't call me or send me information, then I really don't want to renew.  At least they could leave a message.

Calling the service number from the previous post worked. Just call them up and mash buttons untill the automated service transfers you to listner care. Then just give them your phone number and ask them not to call you. very simple.

I told them that I sold the car that had the XM Radio, and now only own a bike. They called twice a day for a week straight before that, but haven't heard from them since (month or so).

This is XM radio. They will continue to call unless you ask to be removed from "their" call list. It doesn't matter if you are on the National Do Not call list. You can do this in writing or can call XM Listener Care at 800-967-2346. I found this out by looking at the Privacy Policy of XM Radio. I recently stopped my subscription so I am guessing this is why they called multiple times in a single day, day after day. The automated phone menu makes it difficult to talk to a person but I did finally talk to one and was assured that I will receive no more calls.

The harassment continues. They state they want to talk about the new car we bought then inform us it's XM radio. After weeks of twice daily calls, we're now using the whistle - however, it has not stopped yet.

This number continues to call even though I have told them that we do not want XM any longer. What is it going to take to make them stop calling?!

It is XM radio - they call 2-3 times per day (for the last month).
They never leave a message.  Speaking to them and asking them to stop - is useless.  They won't stop the harrassing phone calls.
I bought a Sports Whistle - and blew as loud as I could into the phone. It's been 3 days now - they haven't called since.
I believe their computerized phone dialer considers the whistle noise as not a valid number.  Good luck.

XM Radio. They keep calling and calling even though I have told them not to call anymore. I would re-subscribe if they gave it away now!!

It's XM Radio and they are horrible.  In response to their renewal letter I called and requested to cancel.  I was transferred and left on hold for 16 minutes at which point I abandoned the call.  I subsequently called back another number I found on their website and was on hold another 11 minutes before I gave up.  Now they say I owe them for the last quarter's service.  NOT!

The call 3-4 times a day..... I now answer and when they ask to speak to me, I say sure hold on and just set the phone down..... Let them sit on hold until they give up.... On their dime...

I went to my local Dick's Sporting Goods and bought a referee's whistle.  Every time I got a call from this number I gave it a good blast and hit the answer key on my phone.  The calls stopped in a few days.  Best three bucks I ever spent!!!

This number calls several times a day

THIS NUMBER CALLS MY CELL PHONE APPROX. TWICE A DAY

I get solicitation calls from this number all the time.

I call for Sirius|XM  on the outbound program (the one you all are complaining about)

1. if you want the calls to stop request to be placed on the Do Not Call List it is that simple but you have to answer the phone first
2. When you do not answer we assume no one is there so we hang up we are required to leave a message after 15 or so attempts (cant remember the number our dialer keeps track of it)
3. The dialer is set to call the numbers continuously so if we get into a long call with someone then the dialer leaves an automated message for you when you answer the phone.

Anyways I hope this clears up some of the confusion. Just remember just because we are telemarketers does not mean that we are being rude or inconsiderate. We have families just like you... we work at a job that pays for the food that we eat. If you dont want the service that is fine just tell us not to call you and things will work out well. You would be surprised how many people actually wait for these calls knowing that they are coming and renew at the discounted rate without any problem. Also in terms of taxes and fees: I will help remove the confusion about this. They are different wherever you live therefore our script cant have them listed in there till we get into your account and see what they are for you local area so when we say "77 for a year" it will be more then that because of the taxes and fees mandated by congress. Auto renewal is also a big problem but when you think about it most things you sign up for now a days have auto renewal on them so I dont see the problem with it on these subscriptions.
