This is a SCAM to get your personal information - they will threaten to serve you with papers but cannot tell you the address to which they are coming.  They want your SSN and DOB to "verify" then if you give to them they state they have the wrong person and will remove your number.  Lock your credit files and put a credit alert on file.  They will use this information eventually.

They called my human resource office today. The lady said her name was Susan Taylor and that I needed to contact her. She did not give the companys name. Only that I should call her back and that I had been served. I'm sure its someone agency they have called to collect from a payday loan.

I  have gotten several calls from this number the lady that calls says her name is Tracy Smith and that I owe money to a payday loan I am at my wits end about this they have called my  work almost everyday and my home and the human resource dept where I work I dont know what to do a friend said it was a scam and to ignore it

Yeah l got the same thing, exact number and their name. I believe that it is a scam because if you were being served they don't need you to verify anything since they would already have that information.

I got a phone call from this number today stating a claim number and a gentlemen stating his name as Morris or his last name was Morris. he said it too fast for me to hear on my voice mail. This gentlemen stated that he wanted me to confirm my address so he can serve me at my place of employment or my residence info for this claim. At the end of the message he stated that i need to contact the firm(but never stated the name of the firm)  When they called it was Restricted. My parents also got a call but didnt give them information.  

I'm thinking if someone wanted to serve me papers at me residence or employment place that they would already have all the information they needed to do so.  I'm thinking this is a scam but not sure yet.

This company calls from a private or restricted number and says they have a letter to send out to my daughter for collection and that they live in Dallas, TX and is hired by this company BOR a third Party Locator.  Can you tell me if this is a scam?

I received a call from that number as well today. It's the "BOR FIRM"
