My sister got hired for that company just recently. They were hiring UNDDERAGE, whatever. I just recently graduated from college and was looking for a job and they almost jumped down my sisters throats to get to us. My sister gave them all her info, her ss card, birth certificate, everything necessary to begin employment and a day before she was supposed to get paid, (she had been there 2 weeks), they up and dissappeared. No trace. They emptied the building and took down the sign. She spent the entire day calling her boss who wouldn't pick up the phone. A red flag flew up for me at the rate in which they were hiring. They hired her on the spot, no second interview or anything which from my experience is not typical of prof companies. Anyway, when she finally got into contact with her boss, they informed her that they moved locations and got a new supervisor.Then out of nowhere they moved back. People were constantly coming and leaving, being hired and quitting. They are very secretive with their paperwork. And her first check was significantly less than the hours she worked. They promised A 9-5 but she ended up working random shifts. Randomly, they changed the company name from Hiko energy to Verde energy, claiming to be under new management. Her boss looks very unprofessional, with tattoos up and down his body all the way up to his neck and a tongue ring. On her last day, she walked in and she was the only one there. Apparently everyone else quit and they were trying to beg her to stay. They were also requiring her to bring in her ss card and birth certificate AGAIN! She refused and quit. As far as the scam goes, she is aware of it. She knows the key to getting paid is to get peoples account  number. They really stress that. She gets 25 dollars for every account number she receives. She had to endure getting cussed out 9/10 by people who thought it was a scam. ITS A SCAM. BE CAREFUL. GIVE NO INFO OVER THE PHONE.

This is a sickening procedure - they are calling from a foreign (India? PAkistan?) call center, half the time I pick up & they just hang up on me. When asking for a manager, they again hang up. Called them back to complain about rude behaivor & asked for a manager, the male who answered the cal BURPED loudly in my ear & hung up. Finally received their customer service # from another company (affiliate) who has also been harrassing me & told them to stop calling or I will report to the BBB. This all started after I went online for market research/survey work & was entered in a sweepstakes.

and they called our business which is very disruptive. i think the fbi or whatever needs to get on this site and actually go after all these people who spam, try to steal personal info, disrupt businesses, etc.

Called continuously without leaving a message. How do you get these people to stop the harassment??

I just  got a call from this number, and like someone above, I answered it and there was no one there.  I always google strange #s, and Im glad I do.

I just received a call from above #. I am on both my State and National DO NOT CALL LISTS. Since I am still getting calls from unavailable and unknown #' s and telemarketers I don't know what to do to stop these calls.

After repeated calls & several asking for my PECO account no. ,I called Verde energy (888)264-7739 & asked for the CEO Thomas Fitzgerald. A woman said she'd send my complaint to "upper management". I stated that if I received one more call I would contact PECO, my local DA, BBB, the PUC, and the FCC. The CALLS STOPPED......Josh Duffy was the agent who called last.

Verde  energy co. called me repeatedly, never leaving a message. Once a person asked for my PECO account number & said they'd give me a $50 rebate. I said NO. A week later they called again. I pretended to be interested & asked the name of the rep, who was Josh Duffy who also asked for my PECO account number. I called Verde's number (888)264-7739 & asked for the CEO,Thomas Fitzgerald. We are also on the no call list and just got a call from this number. We are not in PECO's area but PPL's. Thanks to caller ID, we don't answer these toll free calls.

I received the same call from Verde Electric or Energy and they lead you to believe they are calling at Peco's request. Said we would no longer have to pay the Transmission Charge, and will get a 19% reduction in our bill  and a $50 mail-in rebate. Smelled like a scam.  Didn't give our acct. number and hung up on them.  Am reporting this to Peco an the FCC.  We are on the Do Not Call list.

It's amazing...  The day we decided to move, we've been getting phone calls from this co.  I always say, "Don't call us, we'll call you!"  Which in turn, they don't respect anyone's wishes...  And people wonder why company's like this GO DOWN...   The more they PUSH, the more they go DOWN.  Until they are NOTHING.  Let's hear it for for us!  "Yeahhhhhhh!"

I usually do not pick up these calls. Today I was 'in the mood' I picked up and before hearing anything said; "What ever you are selling I don't want it. Stop calling this number." and hung up.

I'm on the "Do Not Call" list and still get some unknown calls from time to time.  Very annoying but I find that if you immediately say that you are on the Do Not Call list they hang up immediately...

Just got a call from them.  I answered the phone (don't have caller ID).  Nobody was there.  No recording, no reply when I said hello.  I just hung up.  Going to turn them in now.

this is the first time I have gotten a call from this number, they left no message....will report this to PECO and the BBB...according to these posts, they have no business caling..if I want to chang em electric provider I will do so on my own...

I just got a call from a young man from this number, and he started off by asking if I got a notice from PECO about a rate decrease. I was suspicious from the get go, and told him I do not get a bill from PECO. He thanked me and quickly hung up. Will be reporting this company!

File a complaint at ftc.gov - they can, and will be fined for illegally calling numbers on the do not call registry.

Called verde power at lowcostpower.com requested to be removed from their harrassing phone calls. They were vere nasty and refused to remove my number from their list without my name. Thw web site for verde energy is a member of BBB in Pa. Called and reported them.

I registered my complaint re repeated calls on behalf of  Verde Energy and asked for that they stop immediately.  Although the Operator requested "as much information as possible", I only gave the telephone number that their telemarketer had been using and my zip code.
