so true.   i know from experience.  I've learned so much about sales, in a short time.  it will last a lifetime.  But it is hard work.   but I had never came home without a least $70-$80 a day. and my good days I made over $150. frequently i rang the bell. it was easy to me.  i just did the system and it worked.  see 300 people of day.and the law of average kicks in.  make 30 sales, which could easily be made.  some customers buy more than $10, which is their price point. good product.   I could sell $300 in a few hours, because i learned to qualify a customer, do the 5 steps and keep moving.

the parent company is DS Max,  all other companys are independently owned, and they do fail very quickly, because it is based on sales reps, who quit with no warning.  so there are many names they go buy.  Westcoast Alliance is just one, and the owner has other regional and district offices ran by other managers.  I've seen some go from making $100k+ to back to a few hundred. because they can loose their team overnight, if they quit.   it takes only, if i can recall correctly, like 6-9 team leaders to open a office, so if you loose 1, you will loose your office.    You can easily advance to an office owner in less than a year, if you build the right team.  It is hard work, long hours and alot of traveling.   after all it is direct sales.

i used to work for westcoast alliance, and know everything about it.   It is legit, it is a direct sale marketing company. you get paid commission. if you sell $333.00a day, you make $111.00.  so basically a third of sales is your commision.    I was promoted in 2 months or so, eventually relocated to denver colorado to open an office.    I made good money, no exageration, all the products are legit.   But it is hard to catch up with them.  I'm searching for them now.    I relocated out of state to take care of grandmother, and when i came back they had moved from their office in santa fe springs.   you are able to build a team, and make residual income.  it's not a pyramid or scheme. I wonder if the guy named Eddie is a fellow rep. who went to colorado with me.

its not a scam. its a  door to door sales company that pays 100% commission. its a good company if you are good at sales and there is a lot of opporunity if you are willing to persevere. the reason that the same "lisa" is contacting people in different cities is cause they use centrally located recruiters. You dont need to be in the same city in order to send an email so that someone goes in for an interview. Also, if it is pure commission then of course there is a high turn over and they can hire as many as they want. you may not like this kind of thing but it is completely legit and legal. BBB ratings are irrelevant as they are not even mandatory. and every BBB rating is specific to one location. it has nothing to do with the corporation as a whole. I worked at one of the offices in chicago and even ran an office for a short time. a lot of hard work but a lot of the success i have now in life is connected the the things i learned about sales and business working for that company.

I worked for this company back in 1999. I started in Colorado, moved to Colorado Springs to open an office then moved to New Mexico to a co-workers office and ended up at West Coast Alliance working for Doug in L.A. That didn't last long. The company kept me away from my girl and family and when I did talk to them they brain washed me into thinking they were jealous of my success. I wasted 3 years on hustlin door to door and when it was tax time I never got a I-9 and I called them, They said they would send out another I never got it and filed my taxes without it cause I was out of time well I paid nealy $700 because they claimed me but I couldn't claim them. Be careful

General List of Tell-Tale & Probable Signs

How to Determine if You are Being Recruited for a Bogus Job

1.      If it is too good to believe, don't believe it.
1a.      If a job worth $8 an hour, nobody is going to pay you $40K or more, a year to do it.
1b.      Before going in the door, you have not been told anything about the job.

2.      Recruitment of other people is stressed as a major function of position.
2a.      You - will have people working, making money for you.
2b.      They - will have people working, making money for them.
2c.      You - will get a cut of the money, from everyone in 2a and 2b.

3.      You must pay money up-front to get job.
3a.      Initial job expenses will not be taken out of paycheck over time.
3b.      Every body gets the job, no standard job application required, just your check.
3c.      You must pay NOW, before the price goes up.

4.      Wealth beyond your imagination will be yours.
4a.      You will make more money working part time than your current full time job.
4b.      You will then quit your full time job.

5.      They need more recruits than the US Army.
5a.      Too many people already working this job, for the limited size of product market.
5b.      Working hard at this job is not required.
5c.      Easy sell ? product sells its self.
(Right! ?That?s why they need this huge Sales Force.)

6.      Lots of paid vacation time is stressed.

7.      No job skills required, we will teach you all you need to know.
7a.      No State license or permit is required.
7b.      Idiots, dropouts, business CEOs, and rocket scientists have all been successful.

8.      Look at all of us!     ?  We all got rich!     ?  You can too!     ?  Retire young!

9.      Sell first to friends and relatives, and then sell to their friends and relatives.
9a.      Note:    Your friends and relatives do not owe you a living.
9b.      ?Here is a prospect list of thousands of clients and recruits? ?it?s the phone book.

10.      You get the notion that the ?Smart Folks? are Recruiting? Not selling!
10a.      It?s the ?Suckers? who are working to sell the product, making the Recruiters rich.
10b.      Otherwise there is not a lot of people actually out there selling the product.

I interviewed with WCA back in Oct.'08 and it seemed shady to me then I also didn't give my vehicle info as its none of their business. I agree with you on the whole reception area & interview process. I did however see that they were hiring again and I answered the newspaper ad not expecting to get another interview but I was told to come in again so I made the two hour bus ride (one way) only to fill out the application and then be told by Brenda that I wouldn't be granted an interview again. This was infuiting to say the very least and then I had to make the two hour trip home. I feel that this company is unprofessional and really should be investigated by the BBB.

I just had an interview at West Coast Alliance... it was okay..i asked if they were commission based or hourly..and Eddy( the guy who interviewed me) said it depended on the position, and that first you would go thru 6 months of training and they teach you all about the company and you could choose which position you wanted. i am trying to look them up but their official website has expired. Well, all i can say is that when i walked in, it all looked legit.. but looks can be deceiving...oh and by the way..the girl who e-mails you her name is angelica...i met her today.

I was "contacted" by the same "Lisa Leonard" to go to an interview in Murrieta. How can the same woman be working at multiple offices across the country? The answer is that she probably doesn't exist.  I know I don't trust them.

I too went on an interview with west coast alliance and felt that it was a bit shady.  I spoke to Lisa Leonard with an email address of ccaea.com. Apparently this CCAEA has been under investigation for fraud so if you have started a training program please reply and let us know of your experience. Is it legitimate? What is the scam?

I went on an interview and the company is called west coast alliance. It seemed a little shady, the receptionist area had a cheap stereo blasting music and two receptionists. One receptionist did not have any idea what was happening. Then I was taken in a room with a couple of other people and were asked three open ended questions. Then the company representative began his sales pitch. We was fast talking and was unable to articulate his answers to my questions. I am concerned b/c I completed an application asking for my car information along with my license plate info (which I did not give) but I cannot remember if I gave them my social security number on the application.

I think Lisa Leonard and CCAEA is a hiring company. I was contacted by them, for Point/CRA Industries, and went to the interview. I was hired.

BUT-I've googled and checked as much as I can. I don't see anything particularly negative, and the BBB doesn't have but one complaint against them, so I'm gonna go Monday to the job/training and see what happens. Worst case I waste a day and feel like a moron.

craindustries.com is the site for the marketing company I'm hired by. I'll post if it's for real or not after Monday.
