Unknown number

I got a card too.  They used my old married name and I have been divorced for 5 years. They also sent it to an address that I have lived at for only a month with my soon to be in laws.  The phone number is different but all the other info is the same.  Hopefully they can't get any information

i received this yellow post card and immediately thought it was very strange.  If they are really trying to reach you with "Good News", they would contact you another way without hiding anything, am i right?  After reading the card a few times, i decided to call the number and see at least what it was. the curiosity was killing me!  When i called, the operator answers the phone saying, "control number please".  I proceeded to ask her what this poct card was all about and she refused to tell me anything until i gave her my control number.  I told her that this was a huge scam and people everywhere knew that, so she hung up on me!  Why couldnt she just tell me what i was calling???  PEOPLE BEWARE!  We need to do something about these scam artists! they have been changing their addresses and names for years!  If you have time, look them up under the clearwater, florida BBB, and you will see how many problems they have.  DONT FALL INTO THE TRAP! PROTECT YOURSELF AND TEAR THE POST CARD UP!

I got the postcard in the mail yesterday too, and on my mother's advice, typed the number in Google and came up with this website.  Glad I did.  Thinker, you mention it being an identity theft scam, thanks for the warning.  I did, before coming here, find another site with the same postcard on it and a Magazine I had never heard of before was mentioned. I'm not going to waste my time with calling.  Who needs the aggravation.  But I will put it back in the mailbox today!  Thanks all of you for this place.

It is not a sweepstakes center.. it is an identity theft operation and they are pretty slick, please write  "To Postmaster: Scam - Please Investigate" on the card and put it back in your mailbox, google around if you don't believe me. They slowly gather enough information to steal your identity in the whole process, if youre a salesman you will know because most of them are bad at hiding the fact they aren't really trying to sell you anything

I got through and it's a Sweepstakes center. I didn't listen to the pitch  so if anyone is interested, have fun!

No call, just a yellow "great news" postcard from Michelle Barbaa. Weird thing is, it was addressed to me using my maiden name - I've been married for over 15 years! I thougt maybe it was a high school reunion place trying to track me down. Glad I found this page and didn't waste my time. (Probably wouldn't have called for the HS reunion, either, but that's another story...)

I received a post card and a phone call too - it is a sweepstakes, but of course you must purchase magazines...which I didn't do...

I also got the post card but im not trying to call i did the search first and got this result.

Tried calling but it told me "all circuits are busy now, please try again later." I have no idea who they are or what they want. If I ever get through on that number, I'll come back with whatever happens.
