I received a call from 888-293-0264.  When I said hello, nobody spoke; I just heard soft jazz playing in the background.  I called the number and found out it belonged to Bank of America's mortgage department.  I tried to find out whether someone had tried to apply for a loan using my phone number, but the level of incompetence I met with thwarted all efforts to find out why I'd been called.

I did an online pre-app for BoA today and I've received 4 calls from these guys in less than 30 minutes.  I NEVER pick up when the caller ID says it is an 800 or 888 number from "UNKNOWN", so if they want me to answer, they need to say who they are.  As it is, I am P'O'ed by the constant calls during dinner time hour.  If this is the way they do business, then I'm not interested!

I did apply for a loan, but another company is ahead of them and I was working with a B of A human... no freaking autodialer recording hangups all day long, DAMMIT.....

Yes they called several time in a day and after getting all information ask about your credit or debit card number for fees to get it approved.I suggest do not give any information on the phone rather go to BOA branch.

sorry i missed your call but i was in the middle of something very important. What i really need to know if there is a possibility of refiance my home? If not then just send me a rejecting letter and i will understand.

I filled out a mortgage application online 2 days ago.. B of A called
me once yesterday, and called again 3 times within 25 minutes this
afternoon and didn't leave a message. I'm getting rather annoyed by it!

YEAH!!! 8 calls in 2 days...that is INSANE! They need to chill...I will not be doing business with them.

I received 3 calls within 17 minutes. My number is definately on a dialer. They call continuously and do not leave a message. Beware when you pre-apply that by giving them your number they will call non-stop. When I was a collector it was a violation to call within ten minutes of the last call. It is disgusting and makes me not want to do business with b of a.

I never applied for a mortgage and I got this call from B of A, too. Not sure what's going on.
