Called twice today from 888-296-1244. There was no person and no recording, just the phone calls.

Called three times in the last two days. No person and no recording.

Two calls on my answering machine yesterday; three today.  No message left, just people saying "hello" with lots of noise in the background like a call center.

Called me 11/5/09 when I was not home. Left no message.

Just received  second call of the evening.Woman wanted to know if I lived at a certain address. I refused to answer . I called back the number..no dialtone.Then the operator said it was "not in service." Beware!!!

I received a call this monring from 888-296-1483.  The foreign guy said he wanted tom update our business adrress in his internet directory.  He did not have the correct address I explained and I wouldnt give him any information.  He then asked if this was a corporation or a private business.  I said private and he hung up.

Yes, I have recieved several calls from this number and others requesting a verification of my address and business info.  Promised a free listing.  I have now been billed $49.99 on my home phone number.  I have called the 1-866-868-9314 number but have never gotten anyone to answer.  Does anyone know if there is any-class-action-lawsuit being initiated against this company?

I get several of these calls weekly.  I ask to have our company removed from their list. Get hung up on. I ask to speak the their manager. Get hung up on.  I don't know how to make them stop.  I think I will threaten their mother next time.

called our company twice this morning, the 2nd time I answered.  From some online directory I told him we do not participate in directories and were not interested and do not call our office again.   He would not shut up, I told him two more times the same thing, he tried to say we already subscribe to this service, which we do not.   We had a couple places like this that were billing on our phone bill and we didn't know how they got on there.  This is a scam, scam..

They told me they were with the Census for Businesses and needed to update my information. When I started to ask questions, he got impatient with me when I would not say 'yes' to the list of things he was saying. He said he worked for ACORN, and that it was on behalf of Environmental Impact, LLC. If they continue to call, I hope they use the same number, so caller ID picks it up, and I don't bother to answer. THANKS to all on this list who helped me understand what he was doing. He had me believing the government was going to charge me $49.99 per month after 14 days of this call as penalty for not re-listing.

if there was an ounce of truth to what you wrote, you wouldn't even be looking up the number on this site.

We've recieved several calls from this business, after looking up their website it is obvious that this is a scam. They keep calling but can't give me any info except for that they are "updating our listing" a listing we didnt even ask for. Someone needs to stop this company before its too late.

My Phone bill was charged a $53.74 from findagreenbusiness.net I Called there phone number 866-868-9314 to get the charge taken off I dont know who they are. after 142 minutes on hold, promptly at 2:00 PM pacific time the message changed to sorry we are closed now call back during business hours. this is a total scam. and the phone company will not take the charges off.

Thanks for publishing the main office phone.  I have been pestered with a couple calls per day for about two weeks.  Finally called the 866 number and a suprisingly polite young lady promised to forwad my number to Do Not Call list.  We;ll see.

The same thing happened except the number was 888-296-1636. They said it was for a green business listing.... "Updating my information" which I never gave. I asked that they remove my name from their listing.

received a call from male from caller ID phone# 888-296-1363 and he just wanted to update our company address. When he was transferring me to his "quality control manager" - I hung up!! What a scam.

man these people suck. totally unprofessional, totally noticable they have been through those cheesy "let's try to americanize my accent" classes and do not even know how to argue! i mean if you are going to call and interrupt me doing business at least be freaking entertaining.

they also keep extensive call records and know how many times they have called you. scamming a***oles. OH AND their website looks like something a 10 year old built on geocities. give me a f****ng break.

I got 8 calls from these people and hung up on them. That did no good as they kept calling. Finally I talked with them and they wanted to verify address and phone to my business. I told them if was a waste of their time to do this, as all they had to do was google me. I asked to be taken off the calling list and he transfered me to internal quality control. Another moron on the phone trying to get me to verify my information. He agrees to take me off the calling list but asked me to listen to his speech and agree to it even if I didn't understand what he was saying. In his very fast speech I heard "trial period" and "$49.99 per month". when he finally finished I told him I was not interested and to take me off the calling list. He promptly hung up on me. I was scammed once before by another caller and found extra charges on my phone bill. Don't fall for this!

This number calls at least twice a day. The first time they called the Indian man on the line asked to verify the business address and number. Then he asked what my name was. When I refused to answer, he hung up. Today, just five minutes ago, the same number calls. I answer and the man asked what my name was. Again, I wouldn't tell him and he hung up. Do not call registry is obviously not working.

They keep calling 3-5x a day, every day for the past week. It's some search engine called www.findgreenbusiness.com who wants  "to update our listing". I told them we didn't need their services, but the calls just would not stop. The last time they called (this morning), I threatened to get them fined if they keep bothering us. The person just hung up.

Call after call from the same people that say they are with an internet search engine Company and wanting to update our information for the consumer about the company I work for. They then proceeded to try and verify the address.  These calls come in everyday, 2 or 3 times a day.  They identify themselves as a different company each time, however we have caller ID on every business line and know in advance that it the calls are coming from the same place.

Two calls today as of 3:25 p.m. PST. The first time they rang I Googled for the number and found it here so I didn't answer. The second time they called I just picked up and hung up immediately.
