Got a call from Allied Interstate? asking for my mother.  She died in 2011.  They asked for a copy of her death certificate.  When I asked them to send a letter verifying who they were, the fellow said the call would stop.  My mother had Alzheimer's and hadn't driven in a number of years before her death.  Why would they want her death certificate?  Has to be a scam and they've been calling my number for days and days.

Calls house phone multiple times each day & evening, has wrong # & still calls! These people are harassing us & they are very annoying. Stop this company!!

Just got this number and they start calling me.how they bot.my phone is unknown to me.

Debt collection agency. If you have an I phone you can block their number, many other cell phones offer this feature too so check your phone settings( usually in contacts). It does no good to report them to any agency for " harassment " because they know all the loop holes in the laws that allow them to keep calling a hundred times a day if they want to.

This number stays in my missed call log. i don't answer numbers not in my contacts or that i don't recognize. Whoever it is must not be important because they never leave a message . They call everyday from morning to night.

This number only identifies its self as an"LLC". They ask personal info and try to confirm it by having you say "YES". The caller also starts off with a person saying "this call is being recorded".

That number call me serverals times a day,never leave message.I don't who is it.

I get this number calling my home starting at 8:00 am!  They constantly call after I tell them to stop calling and harrassing me.

The rules of the FDCPA only apply to those who follow them.  There is no watchdog to make sure that all DCA are following the rules.  In fact, they rely on the fact that people are just sheep and don't know their rights.  It's only when people educate themselves and share their knowledge with others that these BFF will fade away like the dying embers of a fire.

Called home after 9:00 PM EST and stated they wanted to speak with my husband.  Earlier in the day received a call from same company but different phone number wanting to speak with our daughter who has not lived with us for over 5 years and now married.  Used her maiden name.  Claimed they are a debt collection agency.  None of us owe any debt, etc.  

I reported to FTC and BBB.  Since then:

its a colletion agency... they keep calling me also..

They are looking for a 'Richard Morgan.'  I have no idea who that is.  As usual with these blood suckers, they don't believe you when you tell them that.  Thank you for Mr. Number!  Now they get cut off every time they try to call.

They call me day and night and never leave messages.  I anwsered but didn't say anything and my caller id chaged to "conference call"   WTF!??

Its a debt collection agency.  I called the number and asked them to remove my number as I was not the person they were looking for.

leaves a garbled message that I don't understand but the phone number is plain. Doesn't leave a name, either of company or person calling.  And I don't respond to the call nor do I answer the call.
