Just confirming that it's BGE hawking their Peak Rewards program. I called back, got a live person, and she said she'd remove us. If only all of these were so easy!

I did as you suggested, but to be certain, I added them to my blocked numbers list.
After all if they use the excuse that you have an account with BGE as en excuse to telemarket you, why would I expect them to show integrity and do as they promised?

I too just got this call. Thanks for all the posts telling me who it was. I let it go to voicemail and yes there were no message left...I live in Texas, how on earth can they help me, from Baltimore??? Talk about your idiot calls.

Rec'vng calls from 888-309-7325. This apparently is an automated number dialing system where calls are being made for Baltimore Gas and Electric and some type of peak usage program. I dialed the number and requested the representative to remove my number from their list.

They called me yesterday, did not leave a message.  And just called now, without leaving a message. I will pick up next time and let them know to stop calling me.  I am a BGE customer as well and I do not need that Reward Perk program, or whatever they are selling. It's probably some scam anyways.

Called them back asked them to remove number from call list. Let's see if that works.

To make the calls stop you must call the original number back 888-309-7325. A person will answer after only a few rings and all you have to do is ask to have your number removed from the marketing list. They'll ask your number and confirm your name and address with you. Done...you're removed from the list.

I am not interested in joining your Peak Rewards program.  Please do not make any additional calls to my phone number regarding this program.

Started getting these calls too. What I do for these spam numbers is this. This assumes you can filter calls - I use voicepulse. I login into my account and set up a filter so that any time a call comes in from the spam number they get a message saying the line has been disconnected. I have about 20 filters set and this has cut down 99% of the garbage calls coming in. I'm not sure if Verizon has these types of filters available - but the interenet phone services generally do.

No idea, but they've called everyday for the last 3-4 days and no message.

It is BGE Peak Rewards. If you call them (888-309-7325) and ask them to stop, they just might. I did. The man I spoke to said he would put my number on their Do Not Call list. He acknowledged that it is an automated marketing calling system. "It may take 24 to 48 hours..." so we will see if the calls actually stop.

Stop playing games .Please be a stand up person or whim what ever describes you best.

Call the number back and order them to remove your number and they will! I hate these bastards. They are trying to seel you their peak rewards package.

Any possibility of stopping these jokers from bother the rest of the sane world.  What could possibly be the purpose in calling and hanging up?

They have been calling me non-stop for weeks now, showing up on my cell phone as unknown. Finally the voice mail kicked in today so I was able to find out the number from where they were calling.  When I google searched it I found it was BGE. Why do they have to call 8 times a day from a restricted number?

At Least have the courtesy to say something when I pick up.

I called BGE and confirmed this is their number.  They admit they are having technical issues with their calling system.  It's been happening for over a week now.  Truly annoying!

Any ideas who this might be?

This call continues to call my fax number and I am on the donotcall list.

call was from Lucifer demanding my first born. The sparrows are flying. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
