I got two calls from them this week - finally answered the second time. It was the manhattan club telling me about this "great promotion." I asked her if she could remove me from the list - the girl said "What about this promotion doesn't interest you?" and I said "I'm not interested in any promotions. Please remove me from your list"

They left a message like they wanted to refer a client but, we all know it was to solicit business!  The number that called me was 888-317-6954.  They also got my email somehow!

Call from The Manhattan Club. said I sign up for a trip to New York City. They had my full name and all.
I told her I did not and not to call again, and now block the number on my phone.
Where are this people getting this information. I have a per pay cell phone.

Unsolicited call from The Manhattan Club.  Calling this number results in a recording with two options, both of which will most likely just confirm your number as functional and put you on other marketing lists.

Received call from this number 888-317-2153 at 11:49 am MST on 02/20/2013 to update my yellow pages. I do not have a yellow page listing! Did not give him the chance to go any further with this scam. Once I told him this sounded like a scam he immediately hung up.
Idiot could not even get his sentences together.

They have been calling me, asking for my credit card to list my business in manta.com They said they work for Manta, the funny thing is that I just got a listing with manta, so I think they got my number by searching new listing in manta. I ask the lady on the phone for a phone number to call her back and she gave me 888-266-0021that is conected to netmusketeer.com and they also have a listing in manta. So be carefull if you get a call from 888-317-2153

Manhattan Club is a hotel timeshare in Midtown (right across from the giant NYC Hooters) around 56th street. I've just decided to never call them back and let them call and call and call until the end of time. Gotta love the determination.

Yes you can call back and request to be put on the do not call list - only they call more - in this day and age I would respect future customers not ()&**()&^ they off.

Congrats...your number has been given to some sort of marketing list.  I have been getting calls from this number too along with several colleges and trade schools.  It's the Manhattan Club...time share????  Really??? Yep, I have pocket change for a time share....

I called the number and got an automated message. If you no longer want to be called, press 1, which I did, I also left a message about taking me off their list
