This was the 1st call on this number, they left a voice message, usually I got calls from 888 296 7476 every other day at odd times of the day and no message. I had gotten a Trac fone and my telephone number came with it . I only use this cell phone if I go out, in case I have a problem.Since I have to buy  my minutes. With this call, they left a voice message (I won't pay for text) I said to Myself"what the hell" I'll pay out some of my minute money to find out these wackers wanted. I called, they were looking for David Chapman, Who ever he was, I told them I bought the phone and number from tracfhone. I am Not Him  and I burning money to call you. The Woman said they will take me off the call list. I hope that's the end of the story

I do not owe any body anything . Stop calling!! This is blatant harrassment and I'm reporting this company.

They Are A Student Loan Collection Agency...I'm Currently Participating In Their Loan Rehabilitation Program....

18 calls from this number in November and December. The Caller ID is "Not Provided." In October, they called  five times using the number 888-296-7476, and again four times in the last five days. On at least three of the latter occasions, then left an "interminable" message, repeating my name, slowly and carefully, and identifying themselves as the "Van Ru Credit Corporation, claiming to be attempting to collect a debt (I don't have any). At least the 888-337-9822 has not tried to leave a message yet. Looks more like a "phishing" scam, to me.

Receiving calls from this number at all hours of the day and night.  I have not answered and they do not leave a message.  Don't know how they got my cell number.  Is there any way to stop these calls.  Have registered the cell number with the national do not call list, but obviously it is not worth the time it took to register.

Offered a business opportunity, no name

student loan but is already paing a collector and their talking about wages %15 of gross. Is this right since am paying but if taking wages what will I have (taken my refund tax)......

Yup, they are definitely a credit collection agency. Their # kept coming up at my workplace caller ID for some reason so I dialed back,

Some guy mentioned a file with 4 digits from a Social Security # that was obviously not mine and a DOB that was not mine. They seemed to be blind dialing people with similar names looking for collection.

At least he was nice enough to mention he would remove my name from the list they were using. Only time will tell if this is true or not.

STOP CALLING

Van Ru Corporation,  a collection agency. I share a similar name with this person that they are looking for. Told them I am not the same person. They still continue to call and I politely tell them to #$%^ off.

They called me back today, October 26.  So, 20 days after their first call.  They asked for someone else, and I stated I was not that person (forgot the name).  Guy on the phone sounded like he was confused, verified he dialed the right number, and politely thanked me for my time.

I got a call from same number. I ignored the call thinking they will leave a voice message but they did not. After that I answere for 2 times they hung up the phone. Later I am getting the call atleast twice, I am ignoring it. Ignore these kind of stupid calls frnds. They are mentally sick.

Called me, did not leave a message.  I called back, automated voice said "slot one hundred forty" and then it was twenty six minutes of hold music -- and nothing but -- until my phone lost the cell signal.

Calls my land line. Won't leave a message. I won't answer. Caller ID show's "Toll Free Number" - duh!

I keep receiving these calls and never receive a message when the phone is not answered.

Some guy name Malcom Smith call and said his extension is 4121 and I could not clearly understand the Companies name but I think it said Vanlum Corporation. To collect some debt that is not mine.

I have told this company for over 4 months or longer now that I am not who they are looking for and they are VERY rude and I want to know what can be done to stop this!

I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voice mail.  They hung up instead of leave a message.

constant calls from this number, early in the morning and all day.  they hang up when I answer with my message to stop calling me!!  Don't know if anyone is there.  How do I get this to stop??!!!

These jerks call looking for someone who has the same last name as me.  Come on now...what are the odds that I'm the personn they are seeking (I'm not)????   How annoying!  I asked to speak to a supervisor (Darren) and he coped some kind of attitude like I'm the problem, not them.

I answer and they hang up!   They call at least once a day.   I heard that they are a collection agency but we do not owe any bills so I can I get them to stop?   We do have a rather common surname so is that the reason?
