You probably gave your number while creating a username, or signed up for a promotion.

They call every day and when answered it's ALWAYS just silence.  Even a half a**** telemarketer would at least make sure someone speaks.

Lot of good the do not call registry does.

As a general policy I don't answer calls from anything that starts with 888. It's working out so far.

I think I have pieced together who it is from various other complaints on other sites and my own experience. I believe it is a company with a business logo website i used. They have been email bombing me too. Someone else who answered this number on another site was asked if he made a logo design, which i did last week, but decided to not buy it and just made my own using photoshop. Id say they are selling info with other companies that target businesses and business people.

Won't stop calling.  Calls 4-5 times a day.

It would be nice if they would quit calling... Or at lease leave a voicemail. This number calls at least 4 times a day. They have called me before and said somehow they got my name on a list that I want more information... Not just once before, But this happens every 4 months, even after I tell them to take me off their stupid list. It has been going on for the last year and a half, almost 2 years.

I have received calls from this number for the past 2-3 days. Each time I answer it disconnects. I called the number back and it did not connect to anything. I did not hang up for about 2 minutes. eventually a fast busy signal.

It was just a company trying to get me to buy a website, not a big deal

asked for someone I have never heard of  male name and I am female and this is my cell phone and has been for 2 years.I told her This is not his number and I do not know him don't call again!

They've called everyday...several times a day for the past 2 weeks...today they left half a message, it was like she realized she was being recorded and stopped.....getting tired of this!

This person has called me about 10 times in the past week, why?! I'm only 14 years old..I don't need spam from people like that.

I keep getting calls from the same #.  No voice mail, doesn't even ring when you call back.  I unfortunately signed up with Verizon right before the spying scandal was announced.  Anyone else have Verizon?  Maybe it's Obama and the IRS calling to make sure they can hear us!

Got a call yesterday and today from this number. I don't answer numbers that say tool free or I don't know. They left no message either time. I'd love to know how these numbers get ours. :(

Have received a call from this number every week day for the last 4 weeks now. I never pick up, they never leave a voice mail.

Got 7 calls from this number in 5 days. I finally answered and a guy asked for Monique. I told him there was no Monique at this # and that is is a cell phone that belongs to me and not a Monique. I told him if he bother listening to the vm when he called previously, he would know that. I told him not to call agian. He had the nerve to tell me that he didn't appreciate being talked to that way because this was the first time calling. I told him well his company has called numerous times and I want it stoped. SORRY!!!!! I do not appreciate being harrassed by a company who is so incompetent they don't even know the name of the person they are calling. What an a***ole!

Never a message left on my cell either, I also tried to call it back and dead air, no ringing, no nuttin :)
I will just ignore it, they call me once a day in the am , I am work anyway and cannot answer it.

I was just called by this number and they claimed to be a company called 1 to 1 web hosting. However when I looked up this company its shady at best on who they are. The strange thing is that I never give out the number they called me on as I only use that line for fax and they knew my name. WTF? How would someone know my name on a number thats unlisted and isnt given out.

Called on 5/29 about my phone service. Sure didn't know much about my account so sounded like a telemarketing ploy.
