These people call, there's a huge pause. they asked for someone who doesn't work here, then hung up abruptly.

This is a Telemarketer of apparently questionable merchant services, who are also currently being sued by a former employee. They just called me, so I did some searching.

This number keeps calling and hanging up. Nobody talks

I also complained to the company and let them know that all of you on here have a complaint against their telemarketers.

When I answered the call at my office there was a long delay and then the female caller stated " I am sorry I have a wrong Number".

called me asking for the owner?  i said this is not a business.  the guy hung up.  this happens about once a week.

Same issues as everyone else. Made a complaint to the "Do Not Call" government website with link to this site. Hopefully they'll make an example of them!

OK, I specialize in hunting telemarketers that call my personal cell phone trying to pitch products for my business from business filings and won't quit.  Here's what works for me, call them at home!  

Yes, I've done this.  Don't be rude, don't be threatening....just explain that every time Lana's business calls your number you will call them and let them know you don't appriciate their incessent calls.  

Be up front and willing to give your name and number so they can remove them.  I've had marketers claim they can't remove the number, lol, but a few calls to home and it somehow gets magically fixed!

I receive a call form this number 888-353-5800 now & than.  They tell me that they want to speak to the owner.  I reply in a curtious manner, "no, he is out on errands or in a meeting ect may I take a message?"  And the rude snot will alwyas hang up on me! I know who they are a telemarker trying to switch our company to another merchant service. So, I called them back, got transfered to the sales dept and hang up on them. I know thats being childish but since we the lil' people don't have the manpower to put these companies out of business, hanging up on them feels darn good.

These people have called us before and we have had to call the phone company and have a trace put on our phone because they would not stop calling (called 10 times in 5 minutes) and the salesman on the phone swore and threatened us.

Once we told him the calls were being recorded, he stopped calling.

Do not give them your name, the name of your business or any business information. They are relentless and will call just to tie up your business phone if you don't give them what they want, which is to run your credit card processing.

They are making calls to cell phones and wasting minutes.  Here is a hint.  For all of these #$%^&* people.  When you get a call like this, list them in your directory and label them BLOCKED.  Even if the FCC and the FTC won't get off their lazy rear ends and enforce the "do not call" laws, you can become your own enforces.

Called in and asked for the owner, when I told them the owner was not in and if they wanted to leave a message she just hung up on me. If someone finds out who they are PLEASE let me know. I will fax them a cease and desist notice from contacting my office again. Just found out who they are " ALLSTATE MERCHANT SERVICES ". now to get their contact number. HA-HA hang up on me again will you........

They are calling me saying that they got my name out of the yellow pages.
I do not have a listing there.  They need to stop...asking for information to give a credit card away.  I believe many people are being taken advantage of with this number.  Many many people are complaining about this. Can anything be done?

They call me all the time, at about the same time everyday. I told them yesterday to not call me and she laughed and they called back this morning.
