A message was left on answering machine from "Mike Bovis" for a family member, wanting home address, work info on him. Stating he had charges and a claim against him, and the call was an official notification to call 888-372-1064 giving the claim number when he returned the call.

If anyone knows the address of this Consolidated, please let me know.  Or else, if you call them ask for the address, by law they must give it to you.  They have been calling some of my family members with harassing calls, saying they need to serve me court papers.

Here is an example of a Cease and Desist letter to write them. Send it certified with return receipt.  They can only call you one more time, after that let them know you can sue them for 1,500.00 plus attorney fees if they continue.  This really works, Knowledge is power!  They don't want you to know about the Cease and Desist letter.

Dear Representative:

I am writing puruant and under the provisions of Public Law 95-109 Section 805-C known as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act-15USC 1692 (C).  You are notified to cease and desist all attempts of communication to collect a debt.  You are hereby notified that no derogatory information be placed on any of my credit reports after receiving this letter as is required by the FDCPA.

This is how you stop them in their tracks. There is a federal law, if you send them a cease and desist letter.  (you can get an example of the letter, just google it  "Cease and Desist letter to collection agencies.  They have one more time to call you, after that they will be fined 1,500.00 every time they contact you.  Get their address, when they call, by law they must give it to you.  Send them a certified letter and that will end their harrassment.

I received a call from a process server as well. For a debt with a payday loan company. I received call after call.  They told me that because I couldnt pay, my papers will be delievered to me at my home or job.  Each time i hear from them, they add a new charge against me (fraud, breech of contract).... Its a scary thought to think these are scamers because they have my personal information.  I informed the gentleman that I couldn't make a payment right away. I have other bills, he said to tell it to the Judge and they'll only start garnishing my wages.  Im not sure what to do next.

That was almost the same thing they said to me today! My husband got on phone saying I wont give my credit card. You will haveto wait until tomorrow. He said he couldn't I been warned and papers would be served.

I would be responsible for court cost and attorney fees.

I just had a call from 843-282-7831. They called me by my name and etc. Wanted to know my address saying they have papers to be served for me. They gave me 888-372-1064. I spoke to a Tony Baker, he wanted a credit card to solve this problem or they would be taking me to court saying: I would be resposible for court cost and attorneys fees.
This is debt from 2009. for a bad check they said I wrote. they claimed I had been sent info in mail. I havent received anything.

My husband said your not getting the credit card until tomorrow. They said they cant wait until tomorrow.

We received a call regarding an employee today.  They made it sound as if they were coming to arrest her!  I didn't think that was allowed at a person's place of business.

A legitimate claims process does not begin with an abusive phone call from a worthless bunch of tampon sniffers.  Laugh about it and spread the word.

My daughter got a call from them saying they would be by to service papers against me, I have never been in trouble with the law. I called the number from my house and they said that, if I get served then I will be facing Check Fraud, and Breach of Contract charges.  That they are going to go ahead and file the suit or I can settle for a lessor amount.  It was for an online loan deposited into my check in 07 that one of my foster kids did, he then went to the bank got the money and put the card back in my room. He did this at 2 on line places, I reported it to the bank and they closed the account out with me owing 700+ in fee's only.  I didn't here of this one until yesterday. I am live on my disability he told me to explain it to the judge if I don't come up with the settlement amount.

Exact same thing happens to me

They just don't stop calling at work!  Called at work 4 times today, same information, added, "I need your address at home and work to serve you papers that are in my office concerning charges and a claim against you."  Then added, "you have one chance to contact the firm handling this claim."  Message ended with "you have been notified."

Call the 888-372-1064 number and it's "Consolidated."  Who are these people?

THIS IS A SCAM; DON'T FALL FOR IT! Got a call here today from this number; they made three calls here, trying different methods and outgoing Caller IDs; finally they left a message.  Message was from a guy who said his name is Dave Parker, saying he is with "remediation," gave  made up "case number," and that this is my daughter's one and only chance to call him back to "work something out."  (She has a minor legal charge pending against her; obviously is a matter of public record and this guy found it.)   He wants her to call him back, and I am quite sure according to research I have done, he is going to tell her that he can "settle this" if she will transfer some amount of money from her account to his.   Why the hell can't or won't the so called Department of Justice go after people like this? These criminals prey on the young, the dumb, the naive, the old, people in trouble.  It would sure make my Christmas to read or hear of these people getting busted and sentenced to some SERIOUS time in jail, their assets forfeited and auctioned, etc.  Just can't believe people can be so mean.

Received a very nasty call & she left a message to call 888-372-1064. She stated I need to contact the "mediation firm" or they will send papers to "an order for service of process". They asked for a credit card # or  check information to pay on this "loan". But I never applied for this loan.

I received a similar call today from a man by the last name of Taylor, saying that he had papers needing to be served to me concerning a court case.   I asked what this was regarding, and he said the number to the "mediation firm" is 888-372-1064, then he provided some case number.  The interesting thing to me was usually when papers need to be served somewhere, they don't usually call for an address.

The phone number the call came across on my caller id was 207-679-4022. I have no idea who he is or what he is after, but have no intention of responding to such threats. He identified himself as Mike Taylor and said he had "an order for service of process" at my home or office, and he demanded an address to serve papers to me.
