Have been receiving calls from this number repetitively.  It seems to be a spam calling themselves the "college of health" targeting retired individuals.  The last call I received, I recognized the number and answered "Police Department.  How may I direct your call.".  The woman apologized and stated that she had the wrong number.  Have not received a call from that number since.

Has anyone who actually heard their claim to be associated with UAA, actually contacted the college?  I suspect it's all bogus, since the calls have been going on for years and the college may be able to stop any fraudulent claim of association.

I've been getting the calls for weeks, but I never pick up.  I suppose I should block the number, if possible.

I had to tell them I would call the police. Told them no 5 times.......they are nuts.

Just got a call from this number.  They claimed, as mentioned above, to be doing a health survey on behalf of the University of Alaska.  They claimed they would send me a check for $20 if I participated.  I told them it all sounded kind of squirrelly to me, and they invited me to check it out and call them back.  They gave me a special ID number to use "when" I called them back.  Seeing the reports here, and considering this has been going on for years already, I can tell it's just another scam, and will block further calls from the number.

I get these calls, too, but I don't live in Alaska. I have picked them up and gotten nothing. Now I don't pick them up and there is no voice mail left.

I called them and they said they were doing a study "on behalf of Univ. of AK" and that they need to speak to as many women in alaska as possible. They needed to talk with the person in the household who had the most recent birthday. I told them I would have her call back, even tho' I won't. They answered as Precision Opinion.

I told them to remove my number and I still get calls from them.

I also keep getting this call.  I got a person once and told them I was not interested and hung up.  They just keep calling.  We need to figure out who to report this to and get it shut down.

I have one answer I give on all surveys. It involves blowing a really loud whistle into the phone.

I've been getting calls for the last couple of months - about participating in a health survey for the university...I've told them twice that I do not wish to participate and to remove me from their list but they still call.  No I've got it set up so the calls go straight to voicemail.

My elderly parent gets calls several times a week.  When I've picked up, I've told Precision Opinion, an agency doing a survey for University of AK College of Health and Social Welfare, we are not interested in participating.  They get very upset and keep calling.  Last night they called again and said, "You do understand this is a very important survey and we see you keep hanging up on us."

It is from Precision Opinion conducting a survey for Univ of AK's College of Health and Social Welfare.  We've told them no twice and they continue to call.  We pick up the phone and hang up.  This last time they called, they said, "You do understand this is a very important survey."  They won't take no for an answer.

This number calls me almost everyday. Sometimes twice aday. Never leaves voicemails tho.

Got the same thing this morning...mouth breather with loud typing and voices in the background.

Yeh I got the call too. Only it went to my voicemail and I can hear people in the background.

Received call from this number at 6:41pm on my cell phone. Unknown number; did not answer. Does anyone have any information about this number?  I researched thru google, but only came up as a recognized number.  Elected NOT to pay for name, etc.
