I am deep in debt with unfortunately no way to pay. When I received this call, I went to the web for help in identifying it. Thank you for your incite. NCO Financial was identified along with the name Karen Meloche.

This number calls but no one is ever there to answer when you call it back and they tell you to leave a message. Why the heck do they keep calling seriously GO AWAY!!!

we received a call from "unnknown caller'. They left this number (1-888-406-9500) for us to call back. I am trying to find out who it is without calling them back.

NCO from Edmonton. They are all liars. Don't deal with them. They also have 780-441-4412 and 888-441-4412. Dealing with them for a student loan debt. They have outright lied to me about the amount and status of my loan owed and are ridiculously rude and condescending to talk to.

My experience is similar to previous posters:
Incoming call mentioning my name and a 'business matter':
Recorded message saying I should call back quoting reference XXXX.
No way, Buddy!

I get the exact same thing, they tell you to call back this number with the reference number but no one is every there to answer your call and they say you can leave a message but they still keep calling!!! This is a new number for me so maybe they are trying to reach the owner before me but just don't take the hint......

Me again, late June. They continue to call nearly every day. I hang up after the first syllable unless the answering machine gets it. Incomprehensible.

This # 1-888-406-9500 has called several times recently.The recording claims to be some financial company and gives a reference #.But they don't speak! The recording says "Call us back at this #" and I usually hang up.About the 4th time I decided to call them (to be taken off their list)and their robot put me on hold!Eventually I left a message saying don't call me, take me off your list.But even if it is some kind of scam, it's a strange process,to ask your "marks" to call back and then not have anyone to speak to them.
