anyone know what munber calls me 888-408-3144 sounds like scammers

Got a call on 12/26/10 threatening, etc., returned the call to Dave Martelli said that he had a case # and was getting ready to take me to court concerning a payday loan (check n go) which I took out in late 2008.  I explained that I repaid that loan through a company called CRS or Check Recovery Systems.  Mr. Martelli requested that I get all the information from CRS.  Well, come to find out CRS is out of business!!  I googled and found a number which is apparently a cell phone for some guy named Josh.  I have requested the information and he verified that my account was paid in full and that he would send me something stating that it was.  In the mean time Mr. Martelli (ICS) is requesting all kind of information from CRS.  What a nightmare!!!!  I do have bank statements proving that I paid the money but nowhere does it state it was with check n go!  So what do I do now???

they have been calling just about everyone with my same last name, but are unspecific as to whom they'd care to speak with, and now they are using people that have a tough or threatening tone.  please someone tell me who these f//kers are

i looked up the number as well and unfortunetly for them the website that is for ics is not for the same people calling. ICS is based out of tennessee and is not the same number that is based in Illinois. This is a fraudulent company that is taking a legal name and bashing it. Dont let them get the best of you because they can only do so much threatening.

they are a attorney based organization which deals with fraudulent activity.. i looked them up aswell due to my brothers case. i had the same damn call but none-the less they are legit.
