No message just keeps calling

It will block those calls that are "allowed by law" :
  charities, phone surveys,  political calls (it's an election year),
  and companies with which a consumer has done business.

Received 2 calls from this number.  One was a hangup after 3 seconds, the other had a recorded message for me to hold, which was repeated twice in the 23 seconds before there was another hangup.

I called the number back and reached a customer service rep named Leticia, who told me that no calls were made from the number - it was strictly for incoming calls!  She couldn't explain how I had the number on my caller ID for two incoming calls.  She also said the company contracted with health insurers to provide health club benefits, but she also said that she couldn't find any listing for my insurer in her records.  She also said my number didn't appear in their system.

According to Leticia the company is not violating Do Not Call because they are supposedly calling on behalf of a company I had a business relationship with.

This is a company called SilverSneakers, a fitness program/company which seems targeted to seniors. Some, and that is SOME AARP plans,  i.e. the AARP "Medicare Advantage" plans may offer them as a fitness resource. However, if you have just your AARP membership or if you carry the Medigap AARP coverage, i.e. the type that supplements medicare, then I don't believe that the Silversneakers program is available as an aarp benefit.

They have been calling me several times, and they do identify themselves as who they are, but I think my wife may have somehow triggered their calling.

It is also possible that at one time this may have been a discounted benefit through aarp's membership program, but I'm not sure.

They Hang Up

Lady said they were advised to call by some insurance company...could be my medical plan; mentioned Humana, AARP, etc.  I do not have either of those.  She would remove me from their calling list.

Just started receiving calls from 1-888-423-4632. In two days they have called us 5 times. How can we stop this?
