Well when I answer they hang up automatically so I cant ask them to stop........What do you suggest next...

They have called so many times I hit decline for the first 10 times I have answered twice and they hang up before I can say anything never leave a message but this is getting sickning

Like everyone on here, this number has called me at least 7x's a day. Does not leave message. I'm sorry but if I don't know the number I'm not going to answer.  Leave a message or don't call me!!!

The first few days, I didn't answer because I knew it was them and had already enrolled in another cosmetology school. They call several times a day and it is extremely annoying. After about a week, I finally answered and they hung up immediately. This has happened every time I've answered the phone since, so there's no "talking to someone to take your number out of their system". I just called my phone company and had their number blocked. Hopefully that works!

I  get calls  from them all day, more then one month? how can i stop them?

the company is not paid by call they make that is just a thing that is put out there they just try to get in contact with people who might have been interested

if you want to know why they are calling it is because at some point and time you or someone put information on line. they do not get paid for every time you answer the phone nor when they call you to those who are saying that they call you while you are at work, school, ect. then simply answer the phone once and tell them that you will be available at such and such time. to those who said that it is a new number ok at some past time someone else had that number and they were trying to get in contact with them. if you do not want them to call you any more simply call the 888 number or answer your phone and talk to someone and say listen you call me every day please take me off your calling list. do not flip out at them it is not their fault that you dont answer your phone. it is a simple thing to do. so instead of posting thing on here to complain about this then you should talk with them about it. or just tell them you are not interested.

I requested information about the school last night. While at work today I missed 14 calls. This is a telemarketing high pressure sales technique. It is harassment. The positive comment above probably comes from an employee. They left no messages and are pushing away many prospective students. I will be reporting this to AG office and ftc, I recommend doing the same if you are also being harassed.

since 10:13 this morning they have called 7x! and is only 3:43 now. so annoying. Defantly wont attend school there if they are this annoying before you even get the information that you were looking for.

I have gotten multiple calls per day from this number, but no name shows on the id. No message is left and the cell phone they are calling was just activated. I haven't given the number out to anyone yet, or requested any information from Empire Education. I have no affiliation with them in any way, and they have no reason to be calling. I have read others reports about this number also - people are saying they get calls like this too. One person made a comment that the company calling is making money if you answer the phone, because it is a 888 number. I am not sure of this information, but am looking for a Federal Agency to report the harassment to.

I have a new cell phone, this number began calling within 24 hours of activation. I have not requested any information from anyone so they have no reason to be calling. Like others, there is no message left and multiple calls per day. I am looking for a agency to contact, someone that can shut them down for good. What they are doing is wrong, no legitimate reason to call.

They call ALL the time.  My boyfriend had requested info but was no longer interested.  When I asked them to stop calling, they said they cannot do that because I could be trying to intentionally hinder his learning!  I told them this wasn't his phone any more, it's mine.  So they wanted me to give them his number.  I told them, no if he's interested he can submit another request.  That was almost a year ago and they are still calling non stop

I called Empire and was told that the school had an esthetician program.  They set up a visit and I took off work to go talk to them.  Once I got there, I waited about 30 minutes for the lady to get back, she was getting coffee, even though she knew I was there waiting for her.  Once I filled out a long application, and told her what I was looking for, she then said, "We don't have an esthetician program.  Why would you think that we did?" and I walked out.  Now they have the nerve to call me all hours of the day, even after this?  That's just poor management and communication.

It is Empire Beauty School. If you Answer the call it is a recording. If you want to be put on their 'Do Not Call List', press 9. it will prompt you to type your phone number. I was receiving calls from them up to 9 times a day, at work, school, while sleeping. I was to the point where i was picking up the phone, then immediately hanging up. Then i got so fed up I answered, ready to yell at someone. Hopefully this will end the annoying calls.
