We keep getting these calls from him as well. He says his name is Clay/Jay and keeps insisting that we give him the maintenance mans number or he wants us to get him in the office so he can get measurements of the pipes. If you tell him no he says he will continue to call until he get ahold of him. We refuse to give him anything and yes he continues to call. I just looked up this number and see seen all the wonderful post and was just like WOW. This guy has a lot of nerve.

I got a call from Keith Sherman. I knew right away that he was in a call center (I could hear people in the background talking) and that I should be somewhat weary. He asked who was in charge of our maintenance. I gave him the first name of our maintenance man (let's call him Jeff - not his real name) and asked why he wanted to know. Keith asked to speak to Jeff (our maintenance man). I asked "what it was concerning" and Keith said it was about a "sewer line flush". Keith asked if our head maintenance man had a cell phone. I told Keith that Jeff did not (i was lying. Of course he does) but that Keith could leave his name and number and that I would make sure Jeff called him back. Keith gave me this number and his name. Good job everyone. Don't be fooled by sketchy people.

I look on Google for this number because maintenance said he doesnt know this company or JOHN WATSON, iI call them and ask to speak to John this guy puts my call on hold then he said this si John I told him you are not John, he just hung up on me, I call back and John Watson answered the call I told him that I was recording this call and that that he was just doing Scam and that he was going to be in trouble. he just hung up on me, cant believe they do this or have the time to do this, Just in case they read this...John this is from Villa Seville, how embarrasing is what you do.

They are getting trickier.  I just had a call from Rich Tucker with Century asking for my director. I told him he was away from his desk.  "Rich" said, "have him call me at my work number (888) 447-1191 because my daughter has my cell phone today."  When I asked what the message was regarding, he said "Just tell him he can't rach me by cell today and he needs to call me at the 888 number, he will know what it is regarding".  Yeah, right.  Not falling for that one "Rich".

We got a call from "DUSTIN MCDONALD" asking for maintenance and then was angry when asked what the message was. He said he was going to be re-doing our sewer lines, when our sewer lines are fine. THIS IS A SCAM

Just received the same call from Dustin MacDonald. He didn't get to far and I can't repeat what I said but these guys really burn my A**.

These guys are too lazy to work so they scam innocent people. Give them no information if they are legitimate they will answer your questions without being rude.

been getting these calls for years sometimes their very convincing, usualy wants to send me something free or he forgot to get the po# from my boss when they talked earlier.

Yes!  Google does work!  Just got a fishing call from a number "privateable".  I know this signals a calling card/pay-as-you-go cell call.   The guy "Steve" asked for the person in charge of the sewer - I caught onto him right away. I've had these nutballs calling many times.   I wouldn't give him any names - that's what they're fishing for.   He got frustrated with me.  Gave me the 888-447-1191 #.   I just googled the # and got this forum.  Way to go everyone.  Frustrating these guys gives me a BIG smile:)

ALex called me from the company Century concerning some grafitti that had been reported in our park that needed clean up. I asked him for more specifics and he said he needed a spore count (a what) concerning the paint they used. I am the assistant manager of my park and I would have known if we had graffitti, it's a very rare occurence here. He did have the name of my manager, but his information was so sketchy I just took his name and got him off the phone. I have no idea what, if anything he was trying to sell me. They are also too dumb to realize that we can only deal with vendors that are registered with the state since we are a state facility.

I get regular calls from the 516 area code number. Now the 1-888 calls. I ignore all. It is CMC, who have shipped a few orders of a product that I did not ask for. I follishly paid the first time but when they shipped it 2 more times and invoiced me I told them they were not getting paid. It has been about a year but I see they are back harassing me again.

Clay Robinson called for the director of my department.  He mispronounced his name.  When I said he was not in and asked to take a message, "Clay" said "uh, yeah, this is Clay.  I'm doing an estimate for his diesel tanks."  He asked if I'd transfer him to his line or if he had to call back.  I reiterated that the director was not in and "Clay" asked to speak to another foreman.

Received a call from Alex Tucker of CMC Claims Dept. Alex stated that he was sending over a Hazmat Claims Form regarding an order of Multi Purpose Cleaner which had been damaged in route via UPS. Asked him for the name of the person who placed the orginal ordered. The person he name had retired several months prior to the said order date. Informed him that we have not ordered this and will not accept any shipments from their company.  Called him back after we looked up the number. It is Century Manufacturing Company out of New York, asked for Alex and informed him again that a order for this product was not made by our facility.  He stated that he had already canceled the shipment of the replacement product.  

Received a call from Trey or Troy.  Said it was about the diesel storage tanks...  Think I am going to keep a list each time they call.  He acted like he knew my boss.  Boss never spoke to them or heard of them.

Dusty called asked for head of maintenance was told he was not available then told front desk that he needed measurements for our new storm drain. we just did a remodel and had all of our drainage done a month ago so it seemed very fishy. after doing some research found out it was a SCAM.

Just received a call from "Conrad" asking about the diameter of our sewer line so that he could make sure he had the right tools. He asked to speak to my Maintence supervisor and well I am the property manager...so I looked this up right away. Sorry Conrad...I will not be calling you back! Said he was with CMC.

I've received calls from Alex and Dustin. Just this morning Dustin phoned asking for the measurements of our main storm drain. He said he works for Century - this is what he and Alex are always asking about. I do not give out the information of our Maintenance Supervisor when they ask for his cell#. Also, we are not doing any work on any storm drain lines. They make it seem like they have an affiliation with the company they are contacting when in fact, no one has even heard of them. Nice try.

Just got the same call about 5 minutes ago. Steve Tucker. Caller ID 516-492-3415 out of NY. Said there was a damaged package claim that just went through this morning from CNC Claims. Thank goodness for caller ID. I sent it to voicemail.

I got a call at work from Dustin MacDonald asking for our head of maintenance. At first I thought it was a legitimate call but our maintenance crew wasn't in and I told him so. He then asked for our head maintenance worker's personal contact info and he got very persistent and more than a little rude when I did not give him the information he wanted.

Callers name was Steve Tucker btw.

Same here. Another call for a damaged package claim. He refused to give me any information and told me he would only speak to my husband. I told him my husband was out of the country serving in the military and he hung up.

Same thing-Received a call from CMC Dustin McDonald 888-447-1191 asking for our maintenance engineer for a diameter size on a sewer line. Not sure what type of scam this is, but its a scam. People at this number are RUDE. When I asked who requested the estimate and what this was regarding, Dustin claimed to know that was above his pay grade.

Received a call from Century Claims, regarding unspecified damaged parcel. Asked what the damaged item is and caller got aggrivated. Phone number came up private on Caller ID, however the scammer gave me 888-447-1101.

I have received a call two other times from Conrad asking to speak with our Superintendent of Maintenance. He needs the diameter size of our storm drains and then specified one of our business addresses. I asked Conrade which company he was calling from and he said: CNC. I've never heard of them. I contacted the maintenance supervisor and he will call this man back to see what this is all about.

"Michael Tucker" called for my boss about a "damaged parcel" claim. He left a message yesterday and his name was "Steven Tucker".
When I asked if I could help him he said it was against the law for him to reveal any information to me.
Caller ID says CMC he said he was with Century. Phone number on caller ID was 516-492-3420.
Not sure what the scam is but they sure are pests!!

No better than Easton Chemical which in my opinion is one of the worst.

Office staff called the number 888-447-1191 and spoke with a man who refused to explain what the nature of CNC was and was very rude. Nice try. This company is obviously a scam.

received a call from Troy. same thing said all of our pipe lines needed to be flushed before the end of the month. Ive never heard of these people nor do i do business with them.  have a different company that takes care of my lines and my grease traps. Its a scam. CNC or Century was the company name given.
