I'd say nice try, but there's nothing nice about trying to defraud victims on the web when you have trouble defrauding them on the phone! They are clearly violaing the FDCPA, any "defense lawyer" would know that.

The name you use is not listed as a licensed attorney in California according to the State Bar of California. YOU ARE A FRAUD and an incompetent shill.

I am an attorney licensed in CA and I represent creditors in court litigating against debtors. This company is completely legitimate and I have been hired by a defendant in a civil case with them in CA to investigate their legitimacy. They delegate and assign outside cases to Attorneys nationwide and are only guilty of being restricted to settle accounts. They have hard litigation negotiation but that is not against the law. I suggest contacting an attorney to inform yourselves of consequences or file Bankruptcy if you simply have no money to pay the debt. That is the only way to get out of paying and getting this company off your back. Instead of assuming this company is not legitimate do some research.

Talked with a Steve Martinez said that it was for late credit card payment during the 'talk' said that low live people like me need to get a job and pay our bills. I said excuse me, you don't know anything about me to say that and since I don't know who you are so before I do anything I want something in writing - he replied we do not have to do a dam thing we are protected by the Federal Government.

David Smith just left message saying that within an hour a court summons was going to be served for a complaint against me.  Before I was calling back did a Google search on this number found this web page....thanks for posting.

I received a call from this person a David Martin. He is stating I owe for a credit card bill from 1998.
He stated I need to pay the full amount or I will be summons for court. He stated I only had three hours to pay this amount. I do not even remember this company or credit card I suppose to have.
I looked up the case number on the net and could not find anything on this company.

I just got that call today. I dont know what to do. They want me to pay the entire amount in an hour and i dont have it. This credit card was from five  years ago and I never recieved anything in the mail stating they wanted to settle. They said they would garnish my wages and suspend my DL. Can somebody help me.

I too just received the same call here at work. He said I have only until today to pay this or else I will be summoned. I have no problem paying my bill if this is truely my bill. But will need a payment plan. He says that was not an option. if I don't pay in full within hours then I will be sent to court. How do I know if this is legit.

Received a call from this number. A Micheal Lance left a message for not only me but with my sister and my parents who live in another state. I called them and was told that I will be served with a court summons because of a breach on a credit card loan. I asked them why they called my parents and sister and he said that they are trying to reach anyone associated with me in order for the process server to deliver the summons to me. So I asked him if I could have something in writing regarding this so I could take it to my attorney and he said that they do not have to. Has anyone received any calls from them? There are so many scams out there, you have to be careful. I don't mind paying bills but I at least want to make sure it's going to right people.
