I SPOKE TO 3 PEOPLE, 1 BLACK AND 2 CAUCASIAN (2 MALE, 1 FEMALE) THEY WERE ALSO SARCASTIC WITH ME AND SAID IT WAS A LEGAL MATTER.  THEY ALL HUNG UP ON ME AFTER I REFUSED TO RELEASE MY INFORMATION.  THE FIRST GUY STRAIGHT UP HUNG UP ON ME.  THE SECOND GUY SAID THAT HE NEVER KNEW AN ADULT WHO WOULDN'T RELEASE THEIR NAME OVER THE PHONE (UH, WOULDN'T ANYBODY IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHO THEY WERE?!) THE THIRD LADY, I CALLED HER OUT SAYING SHE WORKED IN A CALL CENTER - WHICH SHE DENIED.  THEY ALL SAID THAT 'SOMETHING' WAS BEING PRESSED FOWARD AND TO GET MY ATTORNEY.  THE NAME OF THE COMPANY THEY'RE TELLING ME IS C.R. AND ASSOCIATES.

Also, I forgot to mention if you try to dial EITHER number (430-200-0007 the guy on the other end at the time was named Mr. Simmons or so he claimed) they will not take calls from blocked numbers, so if you want to call them back be prepared to either give them your phone number or use someone elses phone that doesn't mind.

Phone 430-200-0007 Called me 4 or 5 times today, after repeatedly attempts I finally got his name on the first call. However he refused to give ANY information about what he wanted, what company his was with etc. After hanging up on his he proceeded to call back, if you do not speak first they will not offer up ANY infortmation about them.

You'd think if they wanted to be more convincing as a mediation company they would oh I dono, try to Mediate and not harass?

Has everyone who has been contacted by these people have a Sprint cell phone or service? This is just a question because I am beginning to see some sort of pattern I think here.

These people continue to call my mom and all her friends about some "civil matter" but wont give any information. I think these people are running a bad scam.

A lady at the below number left me a message to call 888-530-9833 and referenced case #593447.  It was clearly a wrong number based on the name she left the message for, and when I returned the call to state just that a rude guy answered the phone; he would not give me the company name I was calling or the nature of the business.  He ended up being so sarcastic I just hung up.

The name of the company is Kris Adams Mediation Firm....Texarkana, Texas...My mother got a call from someone there today, and finally got out of the girl the name of the company (the girl said spelled with a K on the Kris part)...a girl named Jade Reeves called.  Mother said that she did not really want to give her the name of the firm, (you'd have to know my mom, she can drag anything out of anyone!) and a case #. She said they were wanting to talk about my husband's exwife it seems.  
Unbelievable.  I believe they would like to staple her debt to him if they could, but they can't----we have a signed divorce decree to that effect....Good luck people!  Oh one more thing here to add.....if I found this website so easily....don't you think Kris Adams Mediation Firm knows about it also....if I was in his shoes, I'd be having my people check it daily to see if came up with any leads for me....hmmmm....kinda makes you think huh?

My mom called this morning informing me that a Mr. Ludwig called her and needed to get in touch with me to get a deposition for a civil case from me. He left her a file number and phone number to call. My mom has been married with a different last name than mine for 17 years and I do not give her number as a contact number. I am not sure if I should call and check this out or not. I have had past credit problems from my college years but have taken care of almost all of them.

No, Im not naive and gullible, if you had read my earlier post, you would see that they have the WRONG PERSON. The address they had that I supposively lived at is not mine, nor do I even have Sprint as a carrier, as they claimed. No need to get all spicy love! ;)

The lady called stating it was a legal matter.  She would not disclose information and said it was related to a mediation case.  There is no case.  I told her i would report it to the general attorney's office.

Um they can get your address from anywhere. The local DMV would be the first start! You must be naive and gullible!

They told me I would be "served" in a few days. I mean, these people don't even have my address.  The address they gave me came from God knows where because I never lived there.

I spoke to the FTC complaint dept. and they told me without the name of this company, they can do nothing. Chris Adams isnt good enough to go on, they need the name of the agency. So if anyone figures out what their name is, please let me know. I got all three of my credit reports, this "debt" that is allegedly mine is not on there. I also have acopy of an old one from years ago, and its not on that either. So they definitely have the wrong person. But i have not received any calls from them since I told them I would see them in court, with THEM being the defendants!

Someone called my house and left a message with this as the contact number.  They wanted to speak to my wife regarding a "civil matter."

They called her brother and left the same message trying to get my wife to contact (why they called him, I don't know, she has never lived there), same "file number" telling to call the same number.

From the info here it sounds like a load of bull.  Needless to say, they can go sit on a metal spike.  We aren't calling.

I received a message from this number, who left a "case number", and when he faltered as he delivered the number, proceeded to give a completely different "case number".  The message said the caller was "Brad Pierson" and the call concerned "a legal matter".  When I called this number, the man on the other end would not identify himself, nor the name of his business.  Indeed instead of doing so, he began to try to humiliate me, implying I was stupid for checking into the matter.  This was after I denied having a case number.

Incoherent and childish - I must have hit several nerves.  Very satisfying.  Now run along and take your medication.

Case number, file number whatever you want to call it! The fact of the matter is you do not know what you're talking about! I am not a liar thank you very much! So just go jack off with you're jacked up s****y credit score, get a new hobby...like a job so you can pay your bills and then you won't have this problem now will you??

The caller gave his victim a case number.  Case numbers are not assigned to non-existent claims floating around the "pre-legal" department, whatever the Hell that is.  Either the case had already been filed, in which case there was nothing to negotiate, or no case had been filed, in which case Adams was a liar.  Like you.

there would be nothing on it yet, if they just called you bc thats what they were calling you for is to give you the chance to settle before it goes to court! duh! it is in the prelegal department. you'll see when you receive your paperwork.
