called me 8 Aug about 5:30. I warned that I would report them to the FTC if they called again. Also added to my Blackberry contacts as "Junk", changed all ring and notifications to silent. If they call, I won't hear them.

These &*%^*** people called our house several times telling us about their mortgage scam. The last time I talked to someone named Clare and told her (1) we don't have a mortgage and (2) we are on a do-not-call list. I said "I don't want to hear from you again." She said, and quite sarcastically, "LIKEWISE."

Yes - I also received messages from this fake "Amy" but I have never missed a payment on  mymortgage since it started back in 1997 and therefore never called anyone to discuss loan modifications.  Amy called the wrong person because I have close ties to a prominent politician in my family who has made a life long committment to stopping preditory loan scammers who take advantage of the vulnerable.  I demanded that "Amy" call me back to explain why she is lying about returning my call when I never made any call to anyone about this.  I then told her that if I did not hear back that this would confirm that she is a fraud and too much of a coward to call me back with an explanation, and would then do everything in my capacity to have her company investigated with the help of my personal family resource.   If I'm wrong and "Amy" does call me back and deliver a legitimate excuse for this, I'll be sure to come back and post it to set the record straight in fairness (hold your breath you guys...NOT!)  Assuming the obvious that "Amy" is a preditory bottom feeder opportunitst scum bag who takes advantage of innocent people who are desparate to keep their families in their homes, if they are not caught and proven guilty of this by slithering and escaping the investigation, then be assured that there is a special place in Hell waiting for "Amy" and her loyal employees when they can run no longer in this world when the time comes for them to pass on to the other side.  "Amy" If I am correct that you are a a preditory scammer, then have fun burning in Hell while your vulnerable victims watch from Heaven above.  Meanwhile, as I'm sure you are still sleeping tight at night, I hope you look forward to that in lots and lots of constant nightmares until you pass on to take your punishment.

I pressed one as instructed and got a live person.  I then asked for the company name which the person gave as "Customer Advocate".

I then asked for the company address and she refused to give it.  I explained that I needed it to file a claim with the FTC to collect the money they owe me for calling when I am on the do not call list.

She responded "321 no f**king way, Iowa Nebraska" and then hung up.

I then called back pressed 1 and they hung up the phone.

"Amy" is a spammer in violation of federal law.  My number is on the National Do Not Call reqistry.  There's a warm place in Hell for these types.

Call back after hours - that's what I did and I was able to select an option to "opt-out" and hopefully get her to stop calling.  I am on the Do Not Call list and I don't know how she got my number.

I called back after hours (11 p.m. my time) and was able to choose a option to remove my phone number from her list, so I would recommend doing that if you can.

"Amy" left me the identical message on my home phone this afternoon... and I have no loan modification outstanding, or anything else, and I am on the DNC list, so I am not sure how she got my number. She sounds quite friendly, like I should know her or something... I can't find out what company she's with, so I can make a more formal complaint.

This is ridiculous! 2 back-to-back calls EVERY DAY between 1130a-1230p PT to my mother's phone!! She is disabled & her meds keep her up at night until 5a, sometimes 8a--then these people (with whom we have no association whatsoever) call & wake her up. We're on DNC...this is *definitely* a robot call. There should be some kind of recourse! It's like door-to-door salesmen being allowed to walk into your living room whenever they want to regardless of whether you invite them or not.

"Amy" left message again promoting their "loan modification program" saying we had requested their company call to give us information. The second phone call this morning.

How can we stop companies from calling... the latest ploy seems to be they tell us we requested their call from a request through the internet.

Amy must be a busy girl.  I just got a message from her with the same script as L.  I don't know how she got my phone #, as I am on the Do Not Call List, and did not call anybody about a loan modification.
