My father received a phone call from these yahoos in Feb 2013 stating that John Anderson demanding that I had used my stepmothers SS number to get this payday loan and they would arrest her if he did not pay them the 3,000 that I owed them. Hello my loan was for 300.00 not 3,000 and it ended up in our CHPT 7 BK. So no more debt. The idiot paid them over the phone with his debit card while my sister and I were looking up the number and discovered this page and it was too late and he would not listen. His rockets were fired off and I ended up not speaking to him since then. He at least went to his bank and changed account and his cards to protect himself incase they decided to bilk him out of more money. He always said he would not fall for these kind of things. Yes he did. Instead of telling me about the phone call and for me to take care of it he did it on his own because of the threats. I told him I was not responsible to pay him back due to his not listening to his kids. He also filed a police report and they also told him it was a scam. So no charges were brought against me for something I did not do. I even contacted the payday loan and they verified no debt and had me print off the forms for Identity theft and I sent the packet to them but do not know if they even filled them out. Oh well not my problem.

I had a payday loan thru Check N Go but it was in my bankruptcy and discharged but last Feb 18th 2013 my father called me stating that this William Saunders & Associates demanding that he pay 3,000 for the debt or my Stepmother would be arrested because I used her SS number for the loan. Hello This company was bogus and we tried telling my father but he did not listen so these scam artists got 1,000 out of him and my life went to heck in a hand basket due to him not listening. He at least listened to my sister to change his bank account and debit card which he used to make the payment. I told him I was not responsible for him for falling for this scam and I will not pay it back. I even contacted Check N Go to print off forms for Identity Theft etc to protect him but do not know if he turned them in with the Police Report. They claim that the letter they received from these jerks was legit. Any one can type out a company letter head to make it look legit. Elderly beware. I am still not talking to my father. How do we get these a**holes to pay for what they have done?????

To deal with these scammers simply tell them that when they wake up in the morning and look into the mirror, they know that they are a loser because they are nothing but a scam. Give them the same s*** that they give you. They will tell you something like go to hell and they will hang up. They will quit calling until your number gets drawn again out of their little lottery system that they do. They ARE NOT real investigators, they cannot and will not come get you so feel free to give them as much hell as they give you! Have fun with it!

And they do NOT arrest you for not paying your bills.  There has NEVER been a "Debtor's Prison" in the United Sates.

Even then, every state has a Statute of Limitations (SOL) on debt collections.  Before you admit to any debt, verify it AND check your state's SOL!

got a call from a woman named joeann was trying to scare me into giving creditcard info she refused to send me a verification which i know i am intitled to she threatned me with a lawsuit saying i was refusing her i just want verification she sounds like a scammer my next call is to the attorney general

So, if you call this company right now they have a completely different name (Barker Healey and Associates) than the name people are posting right now. They called me this morning threatening to arrest my 79 year old grandmother and put a lean on her home. They claimed that my disabled uncle used her SSN to take out a loan and that she was now responsible. The lady that called me was screaming and yelling and acting pretty insane. I'm glad this post was on here because it is so clearly a scam.

I have also received calls from this John Anderson, who says he needs to serve me papers, either at my work place or my home.  (And, yes, it is legitimate to receive such calls, if someone is suing you, but they don't leave someone else's phone number for you to call.  They would actually need to speak with you to know when and where to meet.)
When I call the number John leaves, I get a voice mail message saying Williams, Saunders & Assoc, all their rep's are busy, and to leave my name and number.  I did that and I haven't had a call back.  It's been more than a week.  I did receive the call again and the same message.  Called again and get the same message.

I keep getting voice mail msgs or calls (when I am home) from John Anderson with William Saunders & Associates asking for Barney Miller.  I've called them (wait for at least 10 minutes each time before getting an actual person) to tell them that I don't know who Barney Miller is and to stop calling my number.  Each time the person hangs up on me.

I have been receiving voice messages for 3-4 weeks.  I have finally called the number, and without talking with anyone, was placed on hold for a considerable period of time.  I just want the calls to stop.  What can I do???

Same thing.  They have left me multiple messages.  I wish I could block them.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

if this company is not a scam, why dont you provide their address? I was called for someone else and asked me to pay for it, when i told them that i was not such person. they called me a f****n c*** and hung up. LOL idiots

I keep getting a harassing call from a John Anderson

I  got a call from them to and I called back and some lady just went nuts on me and hung up.

He's still at it, when I listened to the message from John Anderson it showed it came from a 000-000-0000 number.
