Michael Gie has an Llc for "mediation and legal assistance."  He is not a lawyer.  It is unlawful for him to pose as one over the phone or in writing.  My sister has been harrassed by these people.  I told her to save the messages and tape record any conversation...smartphones have that capabilty.  What he is doing is illegal.  The law protects people from harrassment and has strict guidelines for third party collections.  Also NO ONE is permitted to pose as law enforcement or an attorney.  The law is clear on that truth. You don't owe this guy.

No attoney...not even an average joe...would have the time or the care to post on this garbage wall...average joe attorney is one of the fast talking employees of the company that would love to get youon the phone and make you think they are on your side but really are just trying to close the deal.

They don't have the capabilties to prosecute...they are just looking for quick money. Open your eyes...they are debt collectors...look up the laws they should abide by and go from there.

This operation is full of lies. Omni mediation group is run by a few dudes out of their living rooms.  Yes you should pay your debts...but their ethics and morals are lacking...omni is a nickel and dime debt collection agency...bought millions of dollars in paper...that's what they call it in debt collection...for pennies on the dollar..yes...you should pay your debts to whom it is owed...but these are debts that are so old that losses have already been accounted for and some harrasser buys and threatens you to no end...because thay are bad checks...they think the law is on their side...its not..they bought this debt for nothing...they have lavish houses with pools and paid servants because you beleived their hype...for a debt that...yes you should've paid...but they bought for pennies on the dollar.

Performed a Records Check on Omni Mediation and they have never prosecuted anyone in my state per the State Court System and they have a summons they do not wanted served to them they have been avoiding service for months. Judge has stated hiding from service will cause bigger issues they know about the lawsuit but no answer per attorney or the owner or employees.   This is a Federal Judge saying this so if Michael Gie and his company was so upstanding in our country that summons would have been served as he has stated in past posts people are scum bags they need to pay their bills so does the company he works for and answer the summons for Federal Court if they have nothing to hide and working within Federal debt collection laws then go to Court and prove your business ethics are not questionable and bad ethics. Michael Gie is probably part owner of the company as well silent owner he is hiding behind someone else...anyone can google the court case and their local court records as well can prove all the facts here that I have shared.......let the first person without sin cast the first stone and the stones that Omni Mediation cast as well as Michael Gie have sin wrapped around all those stones......

Michael Gie is not a registered attorney with the Bar Association in New York or Florida so if he is practicing law he can be turned over to the boards which he seems to act and come across as a an attorney, he can not throw people in jail over debt either since the debt is either bought at sales or referred to by clients, the clients have to go the next step as well, any District Attorney in any state will not deal with third party individuals since they are not the injured party or the vendor on the check and most DA's will not  deal with out of state issues as well due to the fact they would have to call in those out of state witness's and pay for their trip to the county as well as in this cost cutting economy for most counties they do not have the resources to deal with Civil Debt and most counties have programs to work with offenders prior to pressing charges as well they just do not have the money to waste on one time offenders at the moment most jails are full DA's are overworked and the cost to go to trial is far more than most counties have and in some cases the check fraud was due to debtor getting his identity stolen or loosing their wallet and closing out accounts to protect themselves from future losses so call the Bar Association to file complaints the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General in your State as well as Florida and New York the squeaky wheel gets greased.

I also got a call from this number, but they did not leave a message. Probably best they didn't, since 1) I do not have any "bad checks" and owe no one anything, I'm well up to date and pay my debts as soon as I owe them, and 2) I don't take threats from anyone. I once told one moron who kept trying to scam me, and threatened me, that I knew EXACTLY where his business was located and I could be there within a day, then he could face me in person, where I would gladly beat his a**. No more calls from him. The DNC list is a joke, and so is the FCC, they will do nothing, so better fend for yourself.

They Called me about A $5800.00 check That I wrote for a car back in 2009 which was a hold check to a car dealer and Paid in full.  They said I paid $5000.00 on it but owed $800.00  They said they can file a Check fraud case in my county.  I ask them to send me a copy of the bad check and in 5 minutes they emailed me from michaelgie@gordongie.com  and says he is a law firm called Gordon, Gie and A**. LLC  in Punta Florida
I did some reasearch and so-far I concluded it,s a scam. Although He sent me a copy of the check  the check does not show NSF Or Closed. The company that I did write it to years ago is closed down. This place said it was given to them by nationwide check guarantee service.  I looked up the DNS and found that the company was just registered the end of last year. I believe this to be a Scam but still have to make sure.  They said what may have happened is that the place That I wrote the check to never destroyed it after I paid  or that they never reported it paid in full to the guarantee company.  Below is the info I got on the DNS look up and ifo about the Company IN New York after tracking the info that I got .  Be carefull

What if we pay our debt that they say we owe and then they continue to harass us? I've just read about that on the website and I haven't attempted to advise them of my debt being settled yet. I'm just afraid it'll be all for nothing if I try.

Omni does buy pay day loan information because they're calling me about one I had taken out and paid off. I paid it off after they already sold the information. I working on a court cause to sue them both.

Seriously DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!! Please call the FTC at 1-877-382-4357 and report them so that eventually they get shut down!  Even if you did write a bad check the statue is 3 years for felony charges and he threatens to turn you in to the DA which is past the statue.

i was  harassed  by this  company everyday, calling  me  at work stating  that   if  i dont  pay  the  $150  they  would  have  put  in  jail,  they said  that i have  a  bounce  check  from  2009 i tried  working  with them but  the  lady is  rude and  calls  me  a liar  and  would  call  me  names,  how  can  you work this  things  with them  if  they are  not  willing  to work with you
