received a call, picked it up but no answer.  after a bit I called the number and received "we're sorry but the lines are busy now, please try your call again later."

This number called us and said they were AT + T reps--tried to sell us Uverse and Dish direct.  We can't tell if they were ATT or not.  Does anyone know?

I just got a call from the same number (888-583-0886). They say they are with AT&T and trying to help me with nice cable+telephone+high speed internet package. They asked me my SSN and Credit card details. I feel terrible I have given them that info. I normally never givemy personal info. Please do NOT give your personal info to them. Their names are

They called and spoke some funny sounding language, like some Middle East mumbo-jumbo. I don't trust these foreign people, they always trying to rip off honest hard working Americans.

Got a call saying that they were the "Verification Department" of AT&T and they wanted to see if I had my internet through AT&T. This seemed fishy as if they were AT&T they would have known. When I asked this questions, they were evasive and they tried to stick to their script. Telemarketer is guessed. So I asked if I could call them back and this is the number they gave me.

No one answered when I picked up.
