No, we all pay high interest rates because the credit card companies own Congress.

Once the banks STOLE $70 billion from We The People to cover their a***s for making bad bets and selling fraudulent mortgage backed securities to foreign investors, all bets were off.  I defaulted that day on my mortgage (which wasn't worth half of what I paid for it, again because the banks drove up prices by giving mortgages out to anybody, just to collect fees, knowing that there would be massive defaults), also defaulted on all credit cards that were part of the banks involved.  They made a ton of money on me over the years in interest charges, I figure we're even.

These scumbags are simply a company that bought the NOW DISCHARGED DEBT from the original credit card company. Beware, they can freeze your bank account and abscond with the money and you won't get it back.  Take everything out of bank accounts and work under the table or as an independent contractor if possible.  In seven years, you'll be untouchable, or if you can, declare bankruptcy.  Feel free to tell them the individual they're looking for has died. They lie, you can lie.

I had to deal with Alisha Paige as well. She is not pleasant. I asked to have someone else work with me and the other 2 people were very nice and got my amount taken care of. They were always willing to work with me as long I called them to let them know the payment was in the mail. If you do get Alisha Paige ask to speak to someone else.

You must work for these losers, who make a living off being bottom feeders. Read about them on, The Rip off Report. If you think these attorneys are well respected by other attorneys in the field of law, hahaha. You are wrong.

I have had dealings with this firm, especially Alisha Page, who is the main reason I am writing this. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS WOMAN!!!!!!! She is rude, goes behind your back, she and those like her, give these places their bad reputation they have. Yes, if I had paid my bill in the first place, I wouldn't have had to deal with her. But, things happen that are out of our control and life will take you down a path you'd rather not have to go down. I had a small bill, that they got a hold of and wanted to collect on it. I NEVER heard anything about this until I received a summons in the mail. I called Johnson Mark, talked with Alisha Page, worked out a re payment plan and life went on. If I was unable to send as much as agreed on, I would let her know, If I was late, she would call. She was actually quite pleasant every time I spoke with her, THEN, at Christmas time, she blew a gasket! I was down to around $300.00 owed to them. I guess I didn't get the payment to her when she thought she should have had it, so, she called me. I told her, I was doing the best I could. She said, very snotty, I might add, "I'll be sure to put that in your file, doing the best she can." I told her there was no need for her to talk that way to me, that they would get their money. She replied with, "there are lots of things I can do to make you pay. I can garnish your check, put a judgement on your credit report...."I hung up on her. The next day I paid $200.00 to them. That weekend I received, in the mail, the judgement! With court fees, I was back up almost $400.00. I called and left a voice mail that I just paid $200.00. What does Alisha do? She gets ANOTHER judgement, for the "new" amount, with court fees added AGAIN!!! I've decided they will never be paid off, if this keeps happening. I am back to the $300.00 I was at before Christmas!!!!  Do Not Deal with ALISHA PAGE!!!

In general responding to an email address given in an "email me" post on this site is considered to be a bad idea.  We frequently see attempts to unmask posters, and offering up an email address is a common strategy used by the bad guys.

I will admit that your post sounds appealing, but I would advise people not to respond to it directly.  Surely your attorney can find a better way to contact folks - an arrangement where respondents could feel some measure of certainty that they would be safe.

I'm thinking the best idea would be for interested parties to let their attorney validate the contact info for themselves, then contact your attorney to make sure that this is all on the up and up.  Attorney to attorney communications are always a good idea when the rules of the game, and the players in the game,  are unclear.

If you are legit (and I think you may be) then I wish you good luck.

I am in the process of filing a class-action lawsuit against this crappy law firm! Please email me if you have been harassed with phone calls to your cell phone. They are arrogant and don't abide by the law. My attorney said they're one of the worst debt collection law firm in Utah. Their reputation is not very good!
Email me at johnsonmarklawsuit@gmail.com  I've got a lot of evidence against them... extra evidence only helps with class-action status.

Christ,  you are so transparent.  Your Job must be to collect for one of these companies.  It takes very little intelligence to pick up a phone and dial a number.  What does amaze me is that you can read.  Hey, I could do your job when I was five.  Go back to school and at least get your GED. You obviously have no credit and are nothing more than a pisssss on worker.

I've gotten calls at about the same rate twice a day for 1 and a half years!!! But like you, it doesn't identify who they are and there's no way of returning a call or calling them. They FINALLY stopped calling after I got my court summons so I can only assume it was them. Like the other posters the debt is not Identified and they sent a first discovery asking for all personal info, all places I've lived, people I've known, places I've worked, all bank accounts, and such for the last ten years!!! These folks don't have a contract I signed. (Wouldn't they know something about me if they did?) When the economy collapsed I shut down in 3.5 hours, zeroed all accounts, and ceased all operations. What ever account these folks are trying to collect on aint mine, I had no accounts of any kind! They're phishing! It's supported by law and only catching them on a technicality will release you.

Pay your bills and you wouldn't have to "drive all over."  "Immoral crooks"--is it moral not to pay your bills?  "We as consumers have no rights anymore,"-- not if you are claiming the right to not pay your bill--it is unfortunate that consumers who are paying their bills end up being penalised because others default on their responsibility. Hope you are as forgiving of people who owe you money.

Yeah ATK.  What happened?  Johnson Mark LLC is the attorney for the Plaintiff (B of A), who else would be initiating legal action?  "I'll go to court with them, because I know I am right and they are wrong."--you admitted you never paid your debt and you claim Johnson Mark LLC is in the wrong.
In the meantime we all pay high interest rates to compensate for those who do not pay their bills. Wow.

I have gotten 7 calls from this number on one day, when I try calling it back I get a recording that tells me that my call can't be completed. I have no idea who this is or what they want. I do have credit cards, but none are in default, and even if they were the credit company would harrass me before they outsourced the calls. From thesr posts it looks like most people who get these calls are from Idaho or Oregon, but I live in Missouri....how do I contact these morons to get some info or to tell them to QUIT CALLING!!! If I owe something, it would be nice to see some kind of balance in writing too.....I'd never pay without that for sure.

Make sure you check the SOL for your state...in many states, a 6 year old debt is noncollectable.

I tried doing that, but no luck.  These A-holes are very persistent and the more I read about them, the more apparent it becomes that I am (and you) are SOL.  Apparently, we as consumers have no rights anymore, and the Oregon AG is worthless.  They are all in cahoots with one another and beleive me, a settlement will be entered.  I'm sick of all the clerk/court fees- it's starting to mount up, plus it's a big pain in the a** to produce all the stupid forms and drive all over the place when you work full time and go to school.  I'm just going to pay these immoral crooks off and make it go away.  There is a special place in hell for these punks, and I hope they rot for eternity.

I had several messages from this number for a previous resident of my property.  The resident was the daughter of the owner.  The owner and his daugher NEVER had my phone number.  I asume the company connected the address with my phone number.  I have had my phone numer for three years and this number was NEVER the previou owner's.  I called this  888  nubmer to explan the situation and to request they stop calling, and was treated VERY rudely!!!!

I have also recently received a summons and complaint from these guys regarding a Bank of America account I used to have. True, I never paid off B of A. But that means B of A could sue me. Not these guys. I don't owe these guys bumpkus.  After really examining the complaint and doing some research I began to realize their complaint is a total joke. By legal standards, it is vague, ambiguous, and unintelligible. They keep referring to this "credit account" and yet they never say who holds the account, with whom, what the account number is, or even what type of an account it was. Probably because they don't even know. They claim they have "full right under Oregon law" to collect on the "account". What law? They can't even cite one because there is none!  This complaint doesn't have a shred of legal standing because I don't owe them jack squat! It has as much legal standing as if I were to just randomly go up to someone on the street and say, "You know what, I think you owe me, ohhhh let's just saaaaay, $5967.45 . Sure that's it. And if you don't pay me, I'm going to sue you." They try to make it sound all official and intimidating, probably to scare me into calling them to make payment arrangements, which I will never do because I have no contract with them, and so I don't owe them anything. I just filed my answer with the court. Wish me luck. I'm kind of hoping they just see that I called their bluff and drop it. But if I have to, I'll go to court with them, because I know I am right and they are wrong.
