Call is a spam call from GA looking to get me to settle a legal dispute before they have you arrested...  this is a SCAM.  They route you to a company in NY that takes your credit card info to pay your supposed debt... don't do it!

I received message from this number naming my neighbor as a respondant.  When I tried to call them I got a half voice mail message.  they stated thier hours was till 7 pm est but I called them at 6:34 pm and got no response except the garbled voice mail message

I am just letting others out there know they are now leaving personal info on neighbors answering machines. They told someone I didn't even know who I was and that I was going to go to jail if I didn't call them. I am reporting them to BBB and I would suggest if you see this # come up on caller ID let it go to machine and keep it.

now they are in texas giving my entire name on my neighbors answering machines and that I owe a debt...isn't this illegal

i got a call from someone who said they were from King Sterling & Associates about a loan I supposedly got in 2007 it is a scammer I wish someone would stop them.

Got the same call. Never called it back. Thought it was weird they used my maiden name and not my married name. Haven't used that last name for over 10 years!!!!!

Got a call from same number; something about a complaint that was filed. Had 24 hrs to respond. Would like for somebody to find out who's doing this and put a stop to it! Surely the  cell-phone company could put a stop to it, right?

They also use a variety of names when they call, make claims that they are "investigating possible fraud" etc. When you call back, you get placed on hold and then disconnected. There are numerous complaints about this set of number out there, yet they are allowed to continue to operate. Don't bother with the UT or FL BBB offices either - they've long since skipped town and now appear to be operating out of GA

Also an FYI they have been closed up in FL, so apparently they've moved operations to GA in the hopes of continuing their harrasment

No - it's Sterling Associates, another bottom-feeding scammer. They hint at "possible fraud investigations" etc. When you call them back they put you on hold, then hang up on you. They are well-know for violations of both the TPA and FDCPA. They will be reported to the GA State AG's office for this latest round, as well as the FTC

They are actually are real agency I looked them up online. They are registered in the state of GA.

To answer to your question about which state, they are showing in Georgia. I already filed my complaint!

After being scammed TWICE!!! I finally learned my lesson. When I received a call from 678-275-8341, they left a message something about "affidavit in which you are named as a respondent" and  to call 888-600-1463 within 24hrs. I guess they don't remember what I told them last week which is to call my attorney, but they did not want his number.....so this is a SCAM!!! Maybe I should pick up the phone and just play with them a little bit..haha!

Got the same crap call, vm said "affidavit in which you are named as a respondent". These guys use Polycom numbers to robo dial with more scams than you can shake a stick at. If anyone can get some info on what state they're based in, I'd like to get their state AG's office involved

Received call from 888-600-1463 with a case # stating something about a complaint...Ok no letters, no live person, how did they get my number??? Anyways says push #9 to speak to someone, but then it hangs up.

Received a call from King Sterling & Associates.  How they got my work number is unknown to me.  I spoke with a woman named Vivian Proctor who claims that I had a loan with Westwood Financial.  She gave me a loan number of #128071. That they have a file on me.  I asked her for a mailing address and I also requested copies of loan papers that I supposedly signed.  She stated that they only do business on line.  I advised Ms. Proctor that I worked for a Law Enforcement Agency and that what she was doing was a scam.

Same as above.. called me twice in two days.

People please be informed I have been calling these people from a free app and I'm someone I'm guessing you can call the scam police lol and I have found out that these people are f ing scammers they do this for fun they also call from a 2162200161 number which is Ohio an I asked are they located in Ohio and they said no these dumb female dogs have nothing else better to do and now when you call the number it doesn't work due to the fact that I have been calling and calling and calling them and I think they disconnected their phones try calling and ask for Veronica lol and then say u are a scammer you ain't getting my money b!tch then hang up I can almost guarantee you they won't call back do not give them ANYTHING!!!!

I got a call telling me to call 888-600-1463 with a case number.  Said I had been named in a suit, blah, blah and I had 24 to 48 hours to respond.  Sounds exactly like the above calls.  I won't call back.  Obviously a scam.  Number calling from is 216-220-0161.

Got a call today from them saying that I'd been named in a case, with affidavit #14419 and to respond in 24-48 hrs. SCAM!!! the number they gave to call was 888-600-1463. I'd been getting the same call from a man's automated voice, now a woman. They are trying REAL hard!

I got a call from 1-888-600-1463 and the company is "King Sterling & associates". Spoke to a lady by the name Vivian Proctor and she stated that she represented a copy called "Westwood Financial" who is a payday loan company. She advised me if I have been served and I said no. She said she was trying to collect on the account but couldn?t get me any information on the account. I googled both company?s and nothing was found on "King Sterling & associates" and when googled "Westwood Financial" it was a company that represented the big stores like Target, Kroger, Albertson?s, etc. I called them back to see why there were calling me in regards to this ""Westwood Financial" if they represent the big stores and they had no expansion. I had them remove me off the list. THIS IS A FRAUD COMPANY!!!!! DO NOT SEED THEM ANY MONEY!!!!Caller: King Sterling & Associates
