My husband and I both received texts 808-313-9514 saying we won a trip to the Bahamas for 2, simply call 888-631-5049. Hmmm.

Received a text saying to call 888-631-5049 because they had great news about me winning an all expenses paid cruise to the Bahamas for a minimum of 2 people to be used in the next 18 months. Fairly certain it was a scam, but with all questionable calls (because I really don't know) I entertained the man until he asked for a credit card number, and asked me where I'm from. I did give my cell phone number to him which was my mistake, but can always change that if the need presents itself. Feel like the scammers scour pages like this for people they want to try to scam because they aren't very brite, or everything was valid and I'm the a*shole?

Do people really believe this stuff? Is there a no call list that you can put your cell number on? So tireed of this. I hope there is a cruise ship because it sure looks like there are alot of people going to the Bahamas!!

I got the same Bahamas text from 336-491-3733 about 2 minutes after I signed up for an appointment at H&R Block where I had to supply my cell phone number.
Did anyone else find any patterns to when they received the text?
